2013 Washington Redskins Complete Season Schedule | Handicapping

Redskins Schedule – NFL Football

Next up. The Washington Redskins. One of my favorite tools in preparing for the 2013 NFL football season and to enhance your nfl wagering knowledge is to look ahead at each teams NFL schedule, and evaluate the games they will play.

2013 Regular Season Opponents

Mon, Sept. 9 PHILADELPHIA If ’Skins superstar signal-caller Robert Griffin III is ready for Week One, he can prove to us that he’s more than just a poised, well-spoken, supremely talented franchise savior. He’s also a miracle of modern knee surgery.

Sun, Sept. 15 @ Green Bay It’s tough to play an awesome Packers team in the second week of the regular season, but you have to like when you’re travelling to northern Wisconsin in September instead of December.

Sun, Sept. 22 DETROIT The Lions were a lot better than their record suggested last year (4-12), but if DC’s DBs can blanket WR Calvin Johnson, the visitors from the Motor City shouldn’t pose much of a problem.

Sun, Sept. 29 @ Oakland The Raiders look cool when they take the field in their home uniforms – and it’s a good thing, because their team stinks.

Sun, Oct. 6 BYE

Sun, Oct. 13 @ Dallas Washington’s gauntlet of a post-Bye Week schedule gets started with a road game against its historical nemesis. Dallas is going to throw everything QB Tony Romo has at the ’Skins in this statement game.

Sun, Oct. 20 CHICAGO Redskins RB Alfred Morris was a revelation last season, but he could have difficulty finding room to run versus to a suffocating Chicago “D”. [soliloquy id=”82219″]

Sun, Oct. 27 @ Denver I wasn’t kidding when I said the Redskins must endure a tough stretch on the slate in 2013. The Broncos sorely want to atone for S Rahim Moore’s miscue in the AFC Championship game last year.

Sun, Nov. 3 SAN DIEGO Is it a testament for or against Chargers management that the most intriguing thing to say seems to be: “You stay classy, San Diego, and thanks for stopping by”?

Thurs, Nov. 7 @ Minnesota This offseason, RG3 has been seeking counsel from Vikes’ RB Adrian Peterson about rehabbing/recovering from devastating knee injuries. You can bet that there won’t be much collegiality in this November game on short rest.

Sun, Nov. 17 @ Philadelphia If Bradley Cooper doesn’t get in a scrap during the tailgate party, frankly I think we’re ahead of the game.

Mon, Nov. 25 SAN FRANCISCO This game has the makings of an instant classic. Likely the two most electric young QBs in the game do battle in this test of 2012 division winners. Who will get the glory – RG3 or Colin Kaepernick?

Sun, Dec. 1 N.Y. GIANTS The games against the G-Men have had plenty of divisional relevance in recent years (or, shall we say, since the emergence of Griffin).

Sun, Dec. 8 KANSAS CITY The Chiefs definitely improved in the offseason, but I still don’t think they have the defensive horses to handle Washington’s dominant two-headed rushing attack.

Sun, Dec. 15 @ Atlanta This road game should be an excellent litmus test for the Redskins, a team that has designs on not just the NFC East, but the conference crown also.

Sun, Dec. 22 DALLAS “America’s Team” will totally be up for this game, but the Redskins have to like their chances when they get Dallas at home in the regular season’s twilight.

Sun, Dec. 29 @ N.Y. GIANTS This is really the only classic “cold-weather” game for the Redskins during 2013, as they were lucky to draw Green Bay and Denver earlier in the campaign.
