2013 New Orleans Saints Complete Season Schedule | Handicapping

Saints Schedule – NFL Football

Next up. The New Orleans Saints. One of my favorite tools in preparing for the 2013 NFL football season and to enhance your nfl wagering knowledge is to look ahead at each teams NFL schedule, and evaluate the games they will play.

2013 Regular Season Opponents

Sun, Sept. 8 ATLANTA This is always a great match-up. The Falcons’ awesome defense meets the dominant aerial attack of Drew Brees, WRs Marques Colston and Lance Moore, and TE Jimmy Graham.

Sun, Sept. 15 @ Tampa Bay The Bucs have a much better offense than they used to in recent years; this game could wind up with a basketball-like figure on the scoreboard.

Sun, Sept. 22 ARIZONA Saints’ defensive backs must be very cognizant of WR Larry Fitzgerald. The problem with the Desert Birds, though, is that has been the only threat Arizona has featured for quite some time.

Sun, Sept. 29 MIAMI The Fish often got grilled in the passing game last season, and that doesn’t bode well with the league’s best 2012 passing attack on the slate.

Sun, Oct. 6 @ Chicago The Saints are content to chuck the ball early and often. Their defense, however, is highly suspect – that might hurt them when they travel to the Windy City.

Sun, Oct. 13 @ New England Ditto for travelling to Foxboro. Ditto, indeed.

Sun, Oct. 20 BYE

Sun, Oct. 27 BUFFALO The Bills are an opponent New Orleans should be able to truly capitalize on.

Sun, Nov. 3 @ N.Y. Jets It should feel nice for the Saints to have a couple winnable games strung together, before the schedule gets difficult again.

Sun, Nov. 10 DALLAS The Cowboys will be able to pile points on the Saints, but Dallas’s much-maligned secondary should also have a long day dealing with that golden arm of Brees. [soliloquy id=”82219″]

Sun, Nov. 17 SAN FRANCISCO This is another bold challenge for the 2009 Super Bowl champs; San Fran is one of the best teams in the entire NFL. The Saints are incredibly dangerous and quick-strike, but they aren’t the complete team they were a few seasons ago.

Thurs, Nov. 21 @ Atlanta This is a mid-week NFL tilt I will definitely be tuning into. I’m already looking forward to it.

Mon, Dec. 2 @ Seattle Even with the few extra days to prepare, a three-game stretch that includes San Fran, Atlanta and Seattle is a fate no team would envy.

Sun, Dec. 8 CAROLINA In a division that could be potentially very tight, this is a manageable divisional game the Saints absolutely must put in their back pocket, if they’re for real.

Sun, Dec. 15 @ St. Louis N’awlins could have a legitimately tough time with QB Sam Bradford in this one. They may just need some therapeutic gumbo after a St. Louis barbeque.

Sun, Dec. 22 @ Carolina We’ll see if QB Cam Newton can refrain from chewing on sour grapes in a press conference long enough to keep his Panthers a threat in this game and in the NFC South in general.

Sun, Dec. 29 TAMPA BAY At the end of the day, who can really predict the NFL? It only takes Atlanta to regress a little for this game to have profound divisional implications.
