2013 Green Bay Packers Complete Season Schedule | Handicapping

Packers Schedule – NFL Football

Next up. The Green Bay Packers. One of my favorite tools in preparing for the 2013 NFL football season and to enhance your nfl wagering knowledge is to look ahead at each teams NFL schedule, and evaluate the games they will play.

2013 Regular Season Opponents

Sun, Oct. 13 @ Baltimore If Ravens pivot Joe Flacco is as “elite” as last year’s Super Bowl suggests he might be, this should be a battle of upper-echelon quarterbacks – with Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers needing no introduction.

Sun, Oct. 20 CLEVELAND The Browns have some interesting pieces on their team, but they aren’t there yet, and perennially never seem to be. Oh, those poor Cleveland sports fans!

Sun, Oct. 27 @ Minnesota The Packers hate facing their nemesis Vikings and unbelievable RB Adrian Peterson, but then again, who enjoys it?

Mon, Nov. 4 CHICAGO This is the type of Midwest rivalry matchup that will always have a welcome home on primetime TV.

Sun, Nov. 10 PHILADELPHIA Rodgers will do his damage, but the Eagles were in the latter third in the league at stopping the run last season, so maybe rookie RBs Eddie Lacy and Johnathan Franklin could make an impact for the Green and Gold? [soliloquy id=”82219″]

Sun, Nov. 17 @ N.Y. Giants G-Men pass rush phenom Jason Pierre-Paul had an invasive back surgery this offseason, but he’s saying he’ll be ready to go for Week 1, which isn’t good news for Green Bay’s offensive tackles.

Sun, Nov. 24 MINNESOTA Whether it was Tarvaris Jackson or Christian Ponder (we’ll make an exception for a geriatric Brett Favre) Minnesota pivots don’t tend to play well on the shores of Lake Michigan.

Thurs, Nov. 28 @ Detroit Will the real Matthew Stafford please stand up? Detroit’s offense can be dangerous potent at times, but then QB Stafford loses focus and then, well, he loses.

Sun, Dec. 8 ATLANTA It’s good that the Pack have some extra time to prepare for the Falcons, because although this isn’t the Michael Vick-led team that came into Lambeau in the postseason and pulled an upset years ago, the Dirty Birds are still mighty good.

Sun, Dec. 15 @ Dallas The Cowboys were sixth in the NFL in total offense last year, but ranked near the bottom of the league in rushing offense. That lack of balance is concerning, and should play right into the hands of a strong Green Bay defense.

Sun, Dec. 22 PITTSBURGH These days, given the multitude of injuries and the advancing years, Pittsburgh’s “Big Ben” Roethlisberger rather moves like the British clock tower of the same handle.

Sun, Dec. 29 @ Chicago I think Bears fans hate Green Bay even more than Packers fans detest Chicago, if that’s possible, so this is always an ideal game to close out the season with in the NFC North division.
