Within the context of the FBS this is about at big a mismatch as you will see all season long and I actually wonder if it could hurt FSU as a win by anything less than 60 points might be considered a failure – if that is even possible.

Florida State will definitely be looking ahead to their showdown with the Gators next week but the Vandals still have no chance at an upset.
Idaho
By every measure Idaho is one of the worst team in college football this season. The most obvious is this team has just one win (some have none) even though they have a pretty light schedule as they are not a member of any conference this season – it was against Temple by two points.
The highest that they rank in any offensive or defensive category is 73rd is passing offense…but even that aspect may not be a real threat as their starting quarterback Chad Chalich is on the shelf with a shoulder injury.
There is little doubt the Vandals are going to get whipped but it might be even easier than you would think as they essentially have the worst defensive numbers in FBS (or second worst) depending on how you measure it.

They are unlikely to put up much resistance to one of the best offenses in football.
Florida State
Even though there are rumours swirling about QB Jameis Winston and criminal charges the frosh quarterback is completely unphased. His game against Clemson was huge because of the magnitude but his game last week against Syracuse was unreal as he completed better than 90% of his passes and had his highest yards per attempt of any game this season.
When you watch how the FSU offense slices through everyone it is almost criminal that they also possess one of the the nation’s top defenses too.
They are 3rd in points allowed, 4th in yards, and remember how the strength of the Vandals was throwing the ball, well the Seminoles have the top pass defense in the nation to boot. It honestly would not be a surprise to see the FSU defense outscore Idaho in this one.
A safety just might do it given that neither of the team’s last two opponents have even found the end zone.
