I mean no disrespect to the Towson Tigers but they lost by 20 points to Kent State so I can hardly imagine what LSU might do to them Saturday.

Anyways, back to the Tigers.
Against Kent State they had trouble moving the ball on the ground and that should probably continue against LSU as well. Their only hope is to be able to move the ball through the air.
Quarterback Grant Enders has been completing close to 75% of his passes but it will be a little bit more challenging this week. He is pretty mobile and will have to be on Saturday night.
When the Tigers played Kent State on the road they were just 7 point dogs to a mediocre MAC team and got smoked. There is no line listed on this one currently because it is probably hard to know just how high to set it.
FSU was a 70 point favourite earlier in the season and it might approach something like that. Just stay away.
LSU
The Tigers didn’t perform to expectations last week and as as result dropped in the polls…all the way to #3. [soliloquy id=”82219″]
Auburn was their SEC opener and the other Tigers looked them straight in the eye but just couldn’t make a play to get the upset victory.
This week would be considered a trap situation if Towson had any legitimate shot at upsetting LSU before they visit the Swamp next week. Unfortunately they don’t have the capacity to really scare LSU.
The Tigers got quite a scare from Auburn last week though. The SEC is dominant but they still can’t really afford more than one loss if they want to stay in the title hunt.
QB Zach Mettenberger wasn’t all that great last week so look for LSU to feature him to try and get him back on track before needing him more the rest of the season.
Or they could just pound Towson into oblivion on the ground.
It is hard to say whether last week’s close shave increased the confidence of this group or threatened it.
Either way this is their last respite before nothing but SEC games the rest of the way. The only way they are threatened is if they lose focus.
No matter what the line on this one just pass. The final could be a 60 point beatdown or just a 30 point thumping.
