Boise State edged Nevada 69-67 in four overtimes in 2007 and topped Nevada 41-34 last year in Reno. The Wolf Pack has yet to defeat Boise State in a WAC game. The Broncos joined the league in 2001.

After losing their first three contests the Wolf Pack has won eight straight games.

They are coming off a 63-20 pounding of New Mexico State in Week 12. Nevada continued its rushing rampage and set a school record for rushing yards in a game (574) and a season (4,105) in the win. They also became the first team in NCAA history with three 1,000-yard rushers in a season. Sixth-year senior running back Luke Lippincott, who missed last season with a knee injury, has rushed for 1,028 yards on the season. The Wolf Pack defense has notched seven interceptions in their last five contests.

Boise State has won 11 straight games, including a victory over Utah State 52-21 in their last outing. They have scored at least 40 points in five straight games. Quarterback Kellen Moore completed just 15 of 29 for 233 yards and a touchdown in the win. It was the first time in his career that he didn’t complete 60 percent of his passes. Tailbacks Doug Martin (121 yards, four TDs) and Jeremy Avery (116 yards, two TDs) led the rushing attack. The Broncos have outscored their opponents 308-106 in the middle quarters. They are averaging 51.7 points per game in WAC play. The Broncos defense has been shaky as of late allowing 74 points in three games after allowing 109 points in the first eight games.
