Missouri Tigers vs. Florida Gators Free Gambling Prediction & Week 10 Preview

Tigers vs Gators NCAA Football Spread/Handicapping

The Tigers finally got their first SEC victory last week. I thought they would be able to compete better in the SEC this inaugural year but it has not turned out that way. Lucky for them Kentucky came to town…and everybody beats the Wildcats.

Missouri

As a quirk of scheduling they have their final three SEC contests on the road this season.

None will be easy but their visit to the Swamp this week is likely to be the most challenging.

I thought the Tigers would do alright because their offense featuring James Franklin had been potent.

In the SEC they have fizzled and Franklin has missed time putting even more pressure on others to perform…and they weren’t ready.  Franklin saw the field last week but had some weird numbers completing 6 passes for a total of 16 yards.

They are going to need him to make some big plays with his arm and his legs to have a chance of upsetting the Gators.

I don’t see any way an upset happens in this one but this is a really big number for Florida who just doesn’t score all that much.  That might change against the mediocre defense of the Tigers but I think the value side is with Missouri.

They have nothing to lose and should be able to play loose while the Gators could be hung over from last week’s loss a little bit. [soliloquy id=”82219″]

Florida

The Gators have to be smarting after last week’s performance in the Cocktail Party.  They never like losing to Georgia but the way they played last week was just appalling.  Florida turned the ball over 6 times in a very ugly affair that really neither team deserved to win.  There were a whopping 24 penalties in the game, 10 by Florida.

Their offense doesn’t have that kind of wiggle room at this stage of its development.

At this stage of the season it is worrisome as to how bad the Gators offense looked.  Georgia has defensive talent but nobody thought they would limit the Gators to so few yards while making Jeff Driskell look like they should reopen the QB competition.

It should be a much easier time against Missouri but I still don’t like these guys to cover a big number unless they get defensive and special teams scores.

There is no question who the better team is this week.  The Tigers should be feeling better after beating Kentucky last week but this week will once again prove they are not quite ready to challenge the heavyweights of the SEC.

I don’t think you can back the Gators because of their offensive struggles but the Tigers don’t inspire much confidence either so the best play is probably a pass.
