Week 11: Bulls vs Bobcats Predictions

College football Week 11 betting action sees the Buffalo Bulls taking on the Ohio Bobcats on Wednesday November 5th at Peden Stadium in Athens, Ohio.  Cappers Picks provides free college football handicapping tips all season long.

Normally these teams are more in the mix in the MAC but there is no reason they can’t contribute to the midweek MACtion we are used to. Could be very entertaining.

Buffalo

The Bulls are not having a very good season. They have lost three in a row coming into this one and if you look closely at their results you will see that two of their three victories have been against FCS competition.

With just one conference victory they are not really in the race and they are going to be hard pressed to get enough victories down the stretch to become bowl eligible.

This program is usually better than this so I am sure they are disappointed in upstate New York.

Junior QB Joe Licata is having his most productive season yet but it seems that is because the Bulls have gotten down often forcing them to throw more than they would like – his biggest games have all been in losses.

The Bulls want to be balanced, especially on the road and if they can achieve that they should be able to keep this one nice and close. You can tell by the number that there is not much separation between the two teams.

Ohio

Like the Bulls the Bobcats are not matching the expectations they have set as one fof the most consistent programs in the MAC. They have alosing record in the league at 2-3 and with Bowling Green beating Akron last night there chances of being in the division race pretty much disappappeared.

Talent is everything of course and this Ohio team just doesn’t have as much, especially on offense. They used to be among the most efficient teams, especially running but that is definitely not the case this season.

It seemed like Tyler Tettleton was on campus for 9 seasons and the Bobcats have had trouble replacing him this season using both J.D. Sprage and Derrius Vick perhaps proving the adage that if you think you have two quarterbacks you really don’t have one.

The lack of a proficient running game certainly doesn’t make it any easier of course.

At home hopefully whoever starts (Vick likely) can be settled down and have a decent game.

NCAA Football Week #11 Prediction: Ohio -4

Not a ton of value on either side in this onebut I will go with the home Bobcats.

4* FREE NCAAF Score prediction: Ohio 30 – Buffalo 24

They are well coached and have more to play for. Maybe tease them down to -3.
