Alabama
The Crimson Tide lost on the road last week at Ole Miss. Sure it might have been an upset but that was a good Rebels team they lost to, maybe the best they have had in a generation.
This week they are on the road again against an Arkansas team I think is very capable of beating them.

The Tide lost the game last week because they lost the turnover battle and committed more penalties. Alabama is usually more disciplined than that and odds are they will be much sharper on Saturday.
All summer the talk was about Jacob Coker but Blake Sims took the reigns of the surprisingly potent Alabama attack.
Last week he wasn’t the cause of the Bama loss but he did his share. He needs to have a short memory because the Crimson Tide will not be able to run all over the Razorbacks. They are used to seeing that kind of attack all the time.

Arkansas
The Razorbacks were on the come before quandering their lead against Texas A&M and losing in overtime.
They have had a couple of weeks to stew about it which means they are either going to be frothing at the mouth…or they may have lost their edge.
This is one case where I think their style really suits what they are trying to accomplish. If you are mad and sense some hesitancy there is nothing better than smacking them in the mouth with a powerful ground game.
Adding fuel to the fire is that Arkansas has been embarrassed by Alabama in each of the last two seasons.
They will be able to have some success on the ground but they also need to get something from QB Brandon Allen. They are playing with a thin margin for error but they need him to be more than mistake free.
He hasn’t thrown a pick since week 1 but they need more. Two or three big plays can be the difference in this one.
