West Virginia

The Mountaineers (5-2) arrive in Stillwater coming off a huge upset win over the Baylor Bears.

West Virginia continues to rely on its offense led by Clint Trickett, who has 15 touchdowns, including five in his last two games.

So far this season, Trickett’s passing game has been complimented by a very good Mountaineers ground assault led by Rushel Shell, who rusher questionable for this Saturday’s game with a foot injury.

If that the case, Trickett will need to pick up the slack, and will need to hope that backup Wendell Smallwood, can fill Shell’s shoes.

Defensively, the Mountaineers allow 27.1 points and 382.3 yards per game, and have forced four turnovers and tallied 12 sacks.

Oklahoma State

The Cowboys (5-2) got creamed by the Horned Frogs of TCU last weekend, and will hope playing at home, where they are undefeated, will help them get back on the rails.

Quarterback Daxx Garman fuels the Pokes’ offense, passing for 10 touchdowns. A few of his performances have been questionable, as in his last two outings, during which he threw three of his 15 interceptions to just a single touchdown.

Luckily for OSU, running back Desmond Roland is has been more consistent. He has 475 rushing yards and seven touchdowns.

On the defensive side of the football, the Cowboys allow 27.1 points and 420.7 yards. They have also forced eight turnovers and have collected 20 sacks.

Week 9 NCAA Football Spread Prediction

Both teams have been inconsistent.

And while I am leaning towards a SU win at home for the Pokes’, after what we saw last week against TCU, I’m not sure.

4* FREE Score Prediction: OSU 31, West Virginia 27

I think the safe bet here is on the total, and with it set so high, I am going with the UNDER.

you’re such a osu homer. In no way do they win this game. They are on a downward spral and btw, wvu is #22 in country and osu isn’t even ranked.
