The Iowa State Cyclones head hit the road looking to turn around a dismal start and grab their second win of the season, but it won’t be easy against a No. 23 Oklahoma State Cowboys team that has won three straight.

Iowa State

The Cyclones (1-3) are struggling offensively and are ranked 102nd in the country in points scored.

They have been unable to move the ball effectively, and In four games, they have produced just two rushing plays that have gone for more than 20 yards and are averaging just 3.4 yards per carry as a team.

The team’s leading rusher is quarterback Sam B. Richardson with 119 yards. Richardson has been the heart of ISU’s offense, completing 68 percent of his passes, but needs some help in the form of another decent playmaker to help out.

His favorite target has been freshman receiver Allen Lazard, but he has been held to three or less catches in three of the four games this season.

Defensively, the Cyclones are a little better, allowing 463.3 yards per game, but they have forced three turnovers and tallied seven sacks.

Oklahoma State

The Cowboys (3-1) have been on a mission since their opening week loss to Florida State, taking down teans one by one and scoring no less than 40 points each of their past three games.

The ground attack has punished the opposition’s front four. Running back Desmond Roland has scored at least one touchdown in every game he’s played, and as a team the OSU is averaging just over four yards per carry.

Meanwhile, the aerial attack is led by quarterback Daxx Garman who has thrown eight touchdowns in three games, tossing to six different players with more than 100 receiving yards, including Marcell Ateman who leads the Cowboys with 204.

On the defensive side of the football, Oklahoma State is allowing 390.5 yards per game and have forced six turnovers and recorded 13 sacks.

Week 6 NCAA Football Spread Prediction

It’s tough seeing Iowa State keeping up with Oklahoma State in this one, especially with this game being played in Stillwater.

The Cyclones have allowed more than 30 points in three of their first four games, so I am taking the Cowboys and giving the points here.

4* Score Prediction: Oklahoma State 41, Iowa State 17
