Georgia

The Bulldogs (5-1) are off to an impressive start to the 2014 season, and already appear to be poised to win the SEC East and maybe the SEC Championship game too.

Georgia has been a scoring machine, averaging 43.2 points per game and 445.7 yards.

They are led by quarterback Hutson Mason who has completed an eye-popping 70.5 percent of his passes to go with eight touchdowns.

The key however, to the Bulldogs’ offense, is its ability to balance the passing attack with a solid running game fueled by Nick Chubb, who has filled in nicely for a suspended Todd Gurley.

Meanwhile, the defense is making the offense’s job a little easier, allowing just 18 points per game and just 303.7 yards.
As a unit they have tallied eight interceptions, 15 sacks, and have snatched five fumbles.

Arkansas

The Razorbacks (3-3) lost a close one last week to Alabama on a special teams mistake and a blocked extra point. It was Arkansas’ second consecutive loss, after starting the season 3-1.

With the loss, the Hogs are yet to win a game in SEC play, but have been averaging 39.3 points and 459.5 offensive yards per game so far this year.

Arkansas’ offense is led by quarterback Brandon Allen who is completing 57.7 percent of his passes with 10 touchdowns and just a pair of interceptions.

Running back Alex Collins helps balance the attack, and anchors a solid rushing game. He is complimented by counterpart Jonathan Williams, who when both are combined have a total of 15 touchdowns.

Defensively, the Hogs are allowing 23.8 points per game with four interceptions, five fumble recoveries and 10 sacks.

Week 8 NCAA Football Spread Prediction

Georgia is on fire, but will be on the road for the second week in a row.

I while have no doubt that the Dawgs’ will win this one, I am not so sure it will be by only the three points spotted.

So, with the total at 58.5, I see the under coming into play here, as both teams run the ball and the clock.

4* NCAAF Free Score Prediction: Georgia 31, Arkansas 20
