Despite a pair of recent road losses Tennessee showed some promise and will look to go one game over .500 when they host the Florida Gators on Saturday in Knoxville for a SEC college football rivalry game.

Florida

The Gators (2-1) arrive in Tennessee fresh off a bye week and a disappointing 21-point loss at Alabama.

Florida’s offense is averaging 40.7 points per game, but struggled to move the ball against the Tide.

Quarterback Jeff Driskel leads the Gators with five touchdowns, while running back Matt Jones leads the ground attack with a pair of touchdowns as does Kelvin Taylor.

Driskel’s favorite target has been Demarcus Robinson who leads all UF receivers with 23 catches.

Defensively, the Gators are a stingy bunch, allowing just 24 points per game with five interceptions, seven fumble recoveries and six sacks.

Tennessee

The Volunteers (2-2) are .500 on the season after losing at Oklahoma and then last week at Georgia. However, Tennessee is a team on the rise and is gaining confidence by the week, and is averaging 28.5 points per game.

The Tennessee offense is and it is led by Quarterback Justin Worley leads the offense, and has completed 60 percent of his passes with nine touchdowns to just three interceptions.

Meanwhile, running back Jalen Hurd helps balance out the offense averaging 4.6 yards per carry with two touchdowns. He also has seven receptions with another touchdown.

Worley’s two favorite targets have been Marquez North and Alton Brown, who each have 17 receptions to lead the UT receiver corps.

On the other side of the ball, the Volunteer defense is staunch, allowing just 23.8 points per game with five interceptions, three fumble recoveries and eight sacks.

Week 6 NCAA Football Spread Prediction

Both teams haven’t been overly impressive on the offensive side of the football, but do have enough weapons to get the job done.

However, both have pretty stingy defenses so with the total set 55, I am going with the UNDER here.

4* Score Prediction: Tennessee 28, Florida 21
