Florida

For now it appears that the Gators (2-0) have put a miserable 2013 season behind them, winning their first two of the new year. However, it took three overtimes to beat Kentucky last weekend.

Far from the team that rolled East Carolina during week one, racking up 65 points against the Pirates.

Still, the Gators will be tested by Alabama, and quarterback Jeff Driskel will need to be at his best.

Back in the lineup after injuries forced him to watch from the sideline, Driskell has completed nearly 64 percent of his passes with four touchdowns this season. And along with a solid rusginh attack fueled by Matt Jones and Kelvin Taylor, the Gators offenses seems to be clicking.

The pair are averaging around 5.8 yards per carry with a combined four rushing TDs.

Meanwhile, the defense has been outstanding with four interceptions, four fumble recoveries and five sacks.

Loaded with a ton of All-Americans Florida is proving that last season was no accident.

Alabama

The Crimson Tide (3-0) have yet to play an SEC game, but have looked more than impressive in their wins over West Virginia FAU and Southern Miss.

Quarterback Blake Sims has brought down the house on a couple of occasions already this season, completing 75 percent of his passes with four touchdowns and just a single pick.

He has gotten plenty of help though from an Bama’ running game that has been led by T.J. Yeldon and Derrick Henry, who are averaging six yards per carry.

Sims favorite target so far has been receiver Amari Cooper who already had 33 catches on the young season.

On the defensive side of the football, Alabama has two fumble recoveries and seven sacks but has yet to record an INT.

Week 4 NCAA Football Spread Prediction

Although the Crimson Tide are 5-2 against the spread in their last seven SEC games, they have been winning comfortably against cupcake competition

In the meantime, the Gators although 6-14 against the spread in their last 20 games, have had to duke it out for their wins, and appear to be battle ready, which is what I expect this contest to be — a battle of defenses.

4* NCAAF Score Prediction: Florida 28, Alabama 27
