Duke

The Blue Devils (4-0) are on roll and after beating Tulane 47-13 at home last weekend, are unbeaten so far.

They have continued to prove themselves offensively, winning all four of their games by at least 17 points. Duke has also held its opponents to an average of 11.5 points per game, which ranks 7th in the country.

Fueled by a rushing attack that is averaging over 260 rushing yards per game, the Blue Devils have been able to get their passing game going in the right direction behind senior quarterback Anthony Boone who has passed for 876 yards to go along with seven touchdowns and just a single interception.

He along with fellow senior receiver Jamison Crowder, who has a team-high 22 receptions for 296 yards and two TDs, has powered the Blue Devils to 230 yards passing per game. That has equated to an impressive 43.5 points average per game. Good enough for 17th in the country.

Defensively, Dike has been solid, but has not yet played its toughest part of its schedule, beginning this weekend in South Beach.

Miami

The Hurricanes (2-2) fell to Nebraska 41-31 on Saturday, and are .500 on the young season. The teams win came against Florida A&M and Arkansas State.

Against Nebraska, Miami racked up 435 total yards, but it’s defense was its demise, allowing 456 total yards, including 343 rushing yards.

Turning the ball over three times and committing nine penalties, which included five personal fouls didn’t help either.

Meanwhile, quarterback Brad Kaaya tried to keep his team in the game, completing 28-of -42 passes for 359 yards and three touchdowns.

But perhaps the star of the game was running back Duke Johnson , who not only led the team in rushing with 93 yards and one touchdown, but led the team in receiving with five catches for 84 yards.

Week 5 NCAA Football Spread Prediction

This should be one of the best games this weekend.

Duke is experienced on both sides of the ball while Miami. although chalked with talent, make too many mistakes.

4* NCAAF Score Prediction: Miami 28, Duke 27

I’m taking Duke with the points in this one.
