A pair of undefeated Big 12 opponents meet in Waco on Saturday. TCU is enjoying what was likely its biggest win since joining the Big 12 when they knocked off No. 4 Oklahoma with a 37-33 victory in Fort Worth last weekend.

As for Baylor, they’re already 2-0 in the conference after last week’s win over Texas. The defending Big 12 champions have won 12 games in a row at home, and already sport a 2-0 record at the all-new McLane Stadium this season.

While Baylor gets the headlines for its offensive prowess, TCU can certainly move the ball as well.

The Horned Frogs are averaging 196.2 yards per game on the ground, while racking up another 320 yards per game when taking to the air.

A big reason for that success has been the play of quarterback Trevone Boykin, who is completing 61.5 percent of his passes, racking up 1,176 passing yards and 10 touchdowns with two interceptions. He’s also leading the squad in rushing, racking up 260 yards on 51 carries.

Boykin threw for 318 yards and a pair of touchdowns last weekend, adding 77 yards on 22 carries to help lift the Horned Frogs past Oklahoma. As a team, the Horned Frogs churned out 469 yards of offense.

On the other side of the ball, TCU is surrendering only 106.8 yards per game on the ground and 172.5 yards per game through the air, limiting opponents to only two passing touchdowns. They’ve also been great at getting off the field, holding opponents to a 28 percent conversion rate on third downs.

FREE Baylor vs. TCU Pick:

While Baylor was able to build up a margin against Texas, they did have some trouble with the Longhorns’ defense. Now they get a TCU squad that can not only hold up their end on that side of the ball, but can also put up points.

Additionally, TCU knows they won’t be able to keep up if this thing turns into a shootout, so expect Gary Patterson’s boys to do all they can to help minutes melt off the clock to keep that potent Baylor offense on the sidelines.

Week 7 NCAAF Trends

The Horned Frogs are 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings between these teams, and they are 6-0 ATS in their last six games overall.

The Under is 6-2 in the Horned Frogs’ last eight road games, and it is 5-1 in their last six games played in the month of October.
