Bettors prep for NCAAF conference title games

NCAA College Football conference title games take place this week and betED.com has odds for all the matchups.

With all due respect to other conferences, the biggest game of the NCAAF season goes Saturday at the Georgia Dome when the No. 1 Florida Gators (12-0) clash with the No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide (12-0) in the SEC championship game (4 pm ET, CBS).

Florida is a 6-point favorite in NCAAF Lines.

This is, for all intents and purposes, a national championship semi-final, as the winner goes to BCS National Championship Game at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on Jan. 7, 2010.

It’s the second-straight season the teams will battle for the SEC crown. Florida won 31-20 on Dec. 6 last season, as 10-point favorites.

The winner of Florida-Alabama will be keeping an eye on the Big 12 conference championship, which pits the No. 3 Texas Longhorns against the No. 22 Nebraska Cornhuskers (8 pm ET, ABC)

If the Longhorns win, they’ll face the SEC winner in the BCS title game, but if the Cornhuskers win, the No. 4 TCU Horned Frogs will get the nod.

Texas has dominated Nebraska head-to-head, going 7-1 SU and 4-3-1 ATS in the past eight meetings. They last squared off on Oct. 27, 2007, a 28-25 Texas win.

The Longhorns are a 14-point favorite in NCAA Football Betting at betED.com.

In the Big East, the unbeaten No. 5 Cincinnati Bearcats take on the No. 15 Pittsburgh Panthers for the conference championship (12 pm ET, ABC).

The Panthers are 3-1 SU and ATS in the past four meetings, but the Bearcats prevailed 28-21 the last time the teams met on Nov. 22 last season, as 6-point faves.

The game is a pick’em at betED.com.

On Thursday, the Oregon Ducks face state rival Oregon State Beavers in the Pac-10 championship, with the winner going to the Rose Bowl (9 pm ET, ESPN).

The Ducks are 9.5-point favorites.
