The Cowboys have won 10 straight home games in this series, as the Bears have not won in Stillwater since 1939.

Nevertheless, Baylor, who is fueled by an offense that has scored 551 points through nine games, can easily solidify its first outright conference championship since 1980 with a win over OSU.

Despite the absences of their top two running backs and second-leading receiver, Baylor is easily off to its best start in school history with a school-record 13 straight games in which it has averaged over 60 points and nearly 700 yards per game.

The Bears (9-0) took control of first place in the Big 12 with a 63-34 win over Texas Tech last Saturday.

Baylor’s offense, which has been averaging 300 yards rushing and 385 yards passing per game, amassed 675 total yards in the win.

Bryce Petty led the charge with three passing touchdowns and ran for two more while the running game showed its depth as Shock Linwood rushed for 187 yards and a touchdown and Devin Chafin added 100 yards rushing and two touchdowns.

Baylor will now set its sights on a third straight road win in league play for the first time in school history, against a Cowboys team that are unbeaten at home.

The Cowboys (9-1) have won six straight since a league loss at West Virginia, including a 38-13 win over No. 24 Texas last weekend.,

The offense has scored at least 20 points in 49 straight games and is led by Clint Chelf who passed for 197 yards and a pair of touchdowns and rushed for 95 and two scores as the visiting Cowboys handed the Longhorns their league loss of the season.

The defense, meanwhile, which has allowed a conference-low 14 touchdowns, picked off Case McCoy three times, including one for score.

The Boys’ are now tied with Florida State for the most interceptions (19) in FBS.

Matt’s Free Prediction

Against its two toughest opponents to date, the Baylor offense couldn’t be stopped.

And since this game is for it all — the Big 12 and possibly even the BCS, I look for the Bears to cover.

Baylor 48, Oklahoma State 35
