Arkansas State are desperately searching for win having lost three in a row coming into Tuesday nights match up against the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks at Malone Stadium.
Arkansas State holds the all-time series lead, 17-13, with a 37-29 victory at home, the last time these two teams met.

The Warhawks are currently riding a two game winning streak that includes a 48-35 win over Florida International in Week 5, and are currently 2-0 in the Sun Belt Conference.
Arkansas is 0-1 in the conference after losing to Troy, and has lost two straight games by just 3-point margins. Red Wolves quarterback Corey Leonard had 216 yards passing and two TDs, but it was not enough as they lost 24-21 to Iowa in Week 5.
ASU’s defense has allowed 1,000 yards passing over the last three games, and is ranked 107th in the country while allowing 266.5 yards per game. However, it shouldn’t be a factor as ULM ranks just 67th in the country in passing.
Arkansas State ranks 48th in rushing, but just 98th in passing, 46th in offensive scoring, 81st in total offense and is tied for 18th inside the red zone.
Despite their low pass rating the Warhawks are one of the better rushing teams around and leads the Sun Belt with 33.4 points per game. This could cause problems for Red Wolves defense that ranks 76th in total defense, 30th against the rush, and is 53rd in scoring allowed.

Arkansas St. vs. Louisiana-Monroe Free Pick:
The Red Wolves did some damage against a very good Iowa team last week and should be able to put up some points against ULM in the tonight’s game. The key for Arkansas State is to take control defensively, and put some early points on the board. The Warhawks need to launch a balanced passing attack, exploiting ASU’s pass defense.
