St. Louis is 3-1 on the season facing ranked teams, but they have lost 16 straight road games facing teams ranked in the top 25.

The Bulldogs have a solid defensive team, but they allowed the Billikins to shoot 50% from the field in their earlier loss to them this season. Butler also committed 23 turnovers and if they are sloppy with the rock again tonight they will lose this conference game.

St. Louis has the best defense in the Atlantic 10 and the main guy they have to worry about is G Rotnei Clarke (17.1 ppg), who leads the Bulldogs in scoring and is shooting a 3-pt FG% of 43.1%. He and 6’11” C Andrew Smith (11.3 ppg 5.4 rpg) give the Bulldogs a solid inside/outside game and the Billikins will have to play good all around D tonight. [ad-6571516]

St. Louis is led by the frontcourt duo of Dwayne Evans (11.8 ppg 6.9 rpg) and Cody Ellis (11.4 ppg 3.6 rpg). G Jordair Jett (10 ppg) had a career high 18 points in the earlier match up with the Bulldogs and will have to play well again tonight, as the Billikins do not have a lot of scoring on the perimeter.

Smith will have to play good D in the paint tonight and not allow the Billikins to get easy buckets near the rim.

St. Louis only ranks 286th in the nation in rebounds per game and they cannot allow the Bulldogs to dominate the glass.

In some betting trends for this Atlantic 10 match up St. Louis is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 road games, 8-0 ATS in their last 8 games, and they have an Over record of 5-1 in their last 6 games.

Butler is 5-2 ATS in their last 7 home games, 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record, and they have an Under record of 4-1 in their last 5 games.

Jason’s Pick: I think back at home Butler will get their revenge over St. Louis and they will win and cover and pull into a tie with the Billikins for the Atlantic 10 lead.
