The Ohio State Buckeyes are once again the top ranked team in the country. Penn State is looking for a signature win, and they will never have a better chance to get the nation’s attention than they do in this one. Can number one stay on top for more than a week or will the top spot continue to switch hands?
The Ohio State Buckeyes posted two consecutive easy wins over Illinois and Indiana at home this past week. 
The Buckeyes put up 89 and 83 points in those two games. Jared Sullinger is still the main man for this team, but they have multiple options on the offensive end. Jon Diebler is now the Big Ten’s all-time three-point shooting leader for his career. William Buford, David Lighty, and Deshaun Thomas have all shown the ability to put up points in bunches as well. Aaron Craft is a solid freshman point guard who plays smart basketball on both ends of the floor. This team is definitely a contender to win it all this year.
Penn State still has a tiny bit of hope to reach the NCAA Tournament, but they almost certainly must win this game if they are going dancing. Talor Battle has had a huge year, and he is one of the best point guards in the nation, but this team isn’t very deep. Jeff Brooks is a solid second scorer for the Nittany Lions, but after that the production has been very inconsistent.
The Nittany Lions nearly beat the Buckeyes in Columbus earlier this year, so they should have some confidence going into this game.
