Florida has been inconsistent this year, but they do come into this game with an impressive 12-3 record. They have won seven of their last eight, including nice wins over Kansas State and Xavier. Tennessee started the year 7-0, but they have since lost five of their last eight games. The Volunteers badly need a win to build some momentum again, but Florida is 3-1 on the road this year. 
The Gators have four players averaging double figures in points this year, and this is a team that shares the basketball well. Florida is one of the best offensive rebounding teams in the country. The games where they have had trouble this year is when they don’t take care of the basketball.
Tennessee has really fallen on hard times of late, but this is still a very talented team. The Volunteers have played the fourth toughest schedule in the nation thus far, so they are certainly battle tested. Scotty Hopson and Tobias Harris are the primary scorers for this team, but as a whole the Volunteers have struggled with their shot most of the season.
Florida hasn’t fared well against Tennessee over the last few years, especially in Knoxville. I think the Volunteers will come out ready to play in this one. I like Tennessee to cover the spread.
