These two teams don’t like each other, and there will be plenty of motivation to win this game.

Trey Burke is a freshman point guard from Columbus, Ohio. Many expected him to be a solid player, but almost no one could have foreseen him having this kind of freshman season. Burke has been the best player on this Wolverines team. He put the team on his back and led them to a comeback victory yesterday over Minnesota.
Burke is an extremely skilled player who scraps and fights hard for every loose ball. He leads the team in scoring, assists, and steals. Zack Novak is the senior glue guy who does all the little things for this team.

Ohio State was in a tight battle with Purdue for much of the game last night, but the Buckeyes burst the game wide open with a late 16-2 run. It was the Buckeyes pressure defense and transition baskets that blew the game open.
Jared Sullinger had a massive game in the win. Sullinger scored 30 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Ohio State shot 60% from the floor as a team in their 88-71 win over the Boilermakers.
Aaron Craft had 10 points as well as seven assists and six rebounds. Craft is the floor general for this team, and he’ll need to have a big game as he matches up against Burke.
William Buford is the team’s best shooter, but he has been streaky this season. The Buckeyes need him to stay hot in March.
These teams split their regular season series. Ohio State has far more offensive weapons, but Michigan will slow down the pace of this game. Expect a close game here, but I think the Buckeyes win with an advantage in the paint.
