The No.15 Tigers (15-2, 1-1) jumped out to an eight-point lead and held on for a 77-69 win at Nebraska, and they won this game in two aspects: at the foul line, where they were 21-of-30 compared to 13-of-16 for the Cornhuskers, and they forced 15 Nebraska turnovers while having only nine themselves. Marcus Denmon poured in a game-high 27 points, while Ricardo Ratcliffe and Laurence Bowers chipped in with 12 points each for the Tigers, whose gridiron squad definitely played better than their college football betting odds, and the basketball team seems to be doing the same thing. However, they’re going to have to keep it up in Big 12 play.

The No.14 Aggies (15-1, 2-0) rolled over Oklahoma State in their last game, romping to a 71-48 victory as they held the Cowboys to 34.8% from the field, while forcing 18 turnovers. Nathan Walkup and David Loubeau had 16 points apiece for the Aggies, who also nailed eight of their 17 attempts from beyond the arc.

The Aggies are showing themselves to be a force in the Big 12, and they have a couple of big non-conference wins over the likes of Temple and Washington to show for it, but again, they’re going to have to keep it up in the conference.

If you can tear yourself away from NFL picks this weekend, you’ll likely see the Aggies favored at home, where they are 3-1 SU and ATS in their last four against the Tigers, including three straight wins.

Mizzou has gone out on the road twice, a three-point win against an Oregon team that isn’t very good, and a 13-point loss at Colorado. This will be a game of styles as the Aggies will likely try to slow the game down as much as possible, while the Tigers will want to get into a run-and-shoot affair, and they’ll be looking to get the ball to Denmon, who is averaging 17.6 points a game on 51% shooting.

The Aggies also have an edge on the boards despite not being a very big team, and they’re a scrappy bunch who will fight for every loose ball.

The Tigers just haven’t shown us much on the road this season and even though it’s a small sample size, those things get magnified in conference play. Take Texas A&M in your sports bettingbook.
