I have been high on Washington since the playoffs started and even though it looks like they might be packing their bags soon I think they can extend their season with another strong road performance.
Washington had 6 players score in double figures but it wasn’t enough as they squandered a big second half lead to get down 3-1. John Wall was better with the basketball but I still think he is pressing – not shooting it well and turning it over too much for this stage of the season.

Right now they seem to be searching for matchups they can really attack and they are not coming up with much.
Backing the Wizards on the road against the spread has been a winning proposition all season long and I am not sure I am ready to give up on them yet.

Losing the way they did in G4 was certainly disappointing but the fact they have been so strong on the road makes me think they have one more road upset in them.
Indiana
It is amazing how things can turn. A week ago it looked like the Pacers were going to be an epic playoff fail and now they are a game away from their expected destination – the Eastern Conference Finals.
It has been quite a roller coaster over the last few weeks but you have to like their chances playing this game at home. If they can win they might even get to rest up before taking on Miami (or Brooklyn).
Paul George may have just had the best game of anyone in these playoffs (sorry LaMarcus Aldridge).
In the comeback victory he had 39 points and 12 rebounds. He made 7 of 10 three point shots which enabled Roy Hibbert to have another good game down low with 17 points.
That is the way the Pacers need to play instead of relying on George and Lance Stephenson trying to beat people off the dribble.
I want to believe that Indiana has found both their game and their confidence but having been burned so many times I don’t want to rush into it.
