San Antonio Spurs vs. OKC Thunder Game 6 Gambling Odds & NBA Free Prediction

Spurs vs Thunder NBA Picks

It was another lopsided win for the Spurs in G5 at home. Their shooting touch came back in a big way and now they are definitely in control of the series as it head back to OKC. The problem is that in two games on the road in this series they have been a completely different team.[ad-4468020]

San Antonio

This has been a very interesting series in that road teams, even experienced ones like San Antonio have not played well at all.  Makes you wonder what might happen in the Finals.

At home the Spurs play to their depth and G5 was no different.  Playing with a lead enabled them to get 13 different players into the game.

Tim Duncan was a force once again leading the team with 22 points and 12 rebounds in less than 30 minutes.

Danny Green found his shooting touch too making 4 of 8 from three point land but it is getting concerning how he runs so very hot and cold from game to game.

This game is a hard one to call given the way the series has gone back and forth. San Antonio is certainly capable of closing this one out but they have gotten so snug at home they fight be more than willing to go through the motions in this one.

+3.5 is very tempting too because they are just not underdogs very often.

Oklahoma City

Once again OKC is hosting, this time with ultimate desperation as the next loss will mean golf season. In G3 they came back from an embarrassing loss on the road but that was also with the emotional lift from the return of Serge Ibaka.

Can they really do that again?

Where is that emotion going to come from. For a true championship contender the Thunder have looked pretty terrible more than once in this series.

The big difference in G5 was three point shooting.

The Spurs made 7 more threes and the combination of Westbrook and Durant made only 4 of 12. There was also a big imbalance at the free throw line but that often evens out when a team is playing at home – and they say refereeing is neutral.

OKC is going to need their big guns to step up if they are going to push for a 7th game. The way the series has played out it certainly looks likely.

The Thunder have covered both games at home and it seems logical that they would respond with a good effort, win the game and do so again in G6.

However, logic would also dictate that they couldn’t look as bad as they have in some of the games of this series.

Who wins in logic vs. logic?  Tough Call!
