NBA Picks: Suns vs. Bucks Gambling Lines & Preview

NBA Gambling: Phoenix vs Milwaukee

Both the Phoenix Suns (20-16) and Milwaukee Bucks (18-17) would be in the playoffs if the season ended today, which is surprising. As always, visit Cappers Picks daily for our free NBA picks all season.

The Bucks are 3-1 in their last four games including a win over the Cavaliers in that span.

Phoenix has won two in a row including a win over the Raptors on Sunday and they’re 8-2 in their last ten games.

Phoenix comes into this game healthy while the Bucks are still banged up. Ilyasova and Sanders are both injured still, but other players have stepped up. Jabari Parker is also out for the season for Milwaukee.

Antetokounmpo and Middleton have both been having a good season. Knight leads the team in points (18.0 PPG) and assists (5.1 APG). He’s the veteran on this team and his usage rate is through the roof.

When Knight is on his game the Bucks usually win because he does so much on the floor. He dishes it out well, he can shoot anywhere on the court and he’s also averaging over a steal per game this season.

The Bucks are below average in scoring (99.0 PPG – 20th) and rebounds (41.1 RPG – 25th), but they rank 9th in assists (22.9 APG) and 12th in points allowed (98.7 PPG). I’ve been impressed with their defense.

They’ll need to rely on defense in this match-up because the Suns rank 4th in points (107.2 PPG). Phoenix can score, but they only average 42.2 RPG (18th) and 21.0 APG (16th) while giving up 104.7 PPG (28th).

Phoenix is similar to Milwaukee in a lot of ways except they’re better in most categories. Bledsoe leads the team in points (16.7 PPG) and assists (5.9 APG). The offense typically runs through him.

The Morris brothers are putting up big numbers this year as well. Both are scoring an average of 10+ PPG while Markieff leads the team in rebounds (5.2 RPG). The Suns really need to work on rebounding.

I’ll be on the Suns to cover the point spread in this match-up. Their road splits (11-9) are actually strong and they’re one of the hottest teams in the NBA right now. They have way too much depth for the Bucks.

Free 4* NBA Picks: Phoenix Suns vs. Milwaukee Bucks

These teams played each other three times in 2014 and the Suns went 2-1 (2-1 ATS). They covered two big spreads and this spread is definitely manageable, especially against a banged up Bucks squad.

Phoenix Suns –4 (-110)

I expect Knight and Pachulia to have big games, so target them in fantasy if you’re playing the short slate tonight. I’ll have my money on the Suns, but from a fantasy standpoint I’ll likely avoid most of them.
