The 76ers started the season with a couple of impressive victories but quickly returned to form to go 9-21 straight-up through their first 30 games. While they are coming off a 111-104 win over the Lakers as seven-point road favorites this past Sunday, the Sixers have not won consecutive games since the first week of the season.

The main reason is the fact that Philadelphia is ranked dead-last in the league in defense; allowing an average of 111.5 points a game.
Denver is hovering right around the .500 mark at 14-16 SU, but riding a seven-game losing streak into Wednesday night’s contest.
The Nuggets are averaging 99.8 points a game, but they have now failed to eclipse that mark in nine of their last 10 outings. If there ever was a time to end this scoring drought it will be against Philadelphia.
It is a tough call to know which team wins this game against the spread, but this matchup presents a golden opportunity to take the OVER even with such a high total line.
