This should be one of them.

Orlando

Orlando is not very good and they have lost their last eight in a row.

However, you cannot completely discount the Magic as they have an amazing 18-10 ATS record on the road, pretty astounding given the team’s overall performance.

How they are doing it is hard to say but whatever they are doing they will likely have to do without starting guard Victor Oladipo who is questionable with an achilles injury.

This team does not have a lot of depth so even though Oladipo is far from great it is a blow.

Anytime you write about the Magic you have to write about Nikola Vucevic, maybe the most underrated player in the NBA.

He is averaging 19 & 11 and most nights he is the only consistent offense the Magic have. With Oladipo out of the lineup Orlando moves Evan Fournier up to team with rookie Elfrid Payton.

Razor Ray's Picks

That gives them one of the worst backcourts in the League and will be hard to win with.

Oklahoma City

The Thunder have to feel good to be back home.

They have lost four of their last five but all of those have come on the road.

The losses have pushed them further away from the playoffs in the very competitive West and they need to get back to winning in a hurry or this season could be lost after fighting hard to get back to respectability.

A win on Monday would get them back to .500. They need it for their confidence too after getting bludgeoned by Memphis in their last game.

The Grizzlies clamped down on OKC in a way that few teams can.

Kevin Durant had one of this lowest scoring games of the season and on nights where he is not lighting it up it is very difficult for this team to win. Russell Westbrook shot an identical 5 for 16 but the odds of them both being off again against a team like Orlando seems small.

This is a definite chance to buy low on the Thunder.

NBA Handicapping Trends:

  • Magic are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 1 days rest.
  • Magic are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a losing S.U. record.
  • Magic are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games overall.
  • Under is 4-0 in Thunder last 4 home games vs. a team with a losing road record.
  • Under is 5-0 in Thunder last 5 overall.
  • Under is 8-0 in Thunder last 8 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400.
  • Magic are 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings.

Thankful to be home I expect a really good performance from the Thunder.

NBA Score prediction:  Oklahoma City 99 – Orlando 87

Their stars will align and they will get an easy victory. You can buy low for the time being.
