Given the way they Nets have been playing and the schedule setup for Brooklyn this could be ugly.
Brooklyn
The Nets held on in Sacramento last night, winning by 3 despite being outscored by 10 points in the final period.

They have now won 2 of 3 since dropping seven straight but this team is far from having it figured out.
Win or lose it was going to be a very tough game to come down the coast and take on these Clippers as this team is just not very good right now.
I think the most they can hope for is to try and muck this one up. If it has any sort of flow the Nets are going to find it very hard to keep up.
Where would Brooklyn be without Jarrett Jack.

The veteran has been filling in for injured Deron Williams and has been producing. Also, the Nets have made another move, not due to injury, bringing in center Brook Lopez off the bench.
It certainly worked last night as he led the team with 22 points but it might also have been strategy to keep him away from the Kings DeMarcus Cousins as much as possible.
Los Angeles
The Clippers are enjoying a strong season but they are still quite a ways behind Golden State in the Pacific Division.
They have been playing well lately and this game seems gift wrapped with the Nets playing the night before. Backing the Clippers at home has not been a winning proposition even though they have an 18-7 record overall.
Los Angeles is in the difficult spot of already not having a ton to play for. They look unlikely to catch fire and catch the Warriors while at the same time their playoff position seems pretty secure.
It is hard not to like the game of DeAndre Jordan. He rebounds, he defends and does not try to do too much with his offense.
This season he is shooting a staggering 72% from the field. He is there to gather the misses of Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and J.J. Reddick and the formula is working – they are 4th in the NBA in scoring.

On nights when those other than Jordan play defense this club is hard to stop.
