NBA Betting – Milwaukee vs. Atlanta

Free pick and preview plus NBA betting odds and basketball lines for the matchup featuring the Milwaukee Bucks and the Atlanta Hawks…

Inconsistent Teams Meet as Hawks Host Bucks

The Atlanta Hawks (8-5 SU, 6-7 ATS, 6-6-1 O/U) are riding a six-game ATS winless streak in the BetUS NBA Sportsbook. The Milwaukee Bucks, (7-9, 11-4-1 ATS, 10-6 O/U) have covered the spread in three straight games for BetUS NBA sports betting backers.

Tonight, both teams will be looking to pick up a win for fans and NBA sports betting enthusiasts,

The Bucks are coming off a 108-101 loss to the Orlando Magic on Monday, but covered the spread as an 8.5-point road underdog. Milwaukee could be without three starters on Wednesday night when they visit Atlanta as point guard Luke Ridnour and center Andrew Bogut were each injured against the Magic while the team has been without starting shooting guard Michael Redd since he injured his ankle on Nov. 2

The Bucks got 25 points from Richard Jefferson and 17 from Charlie Villanueva, but could not bounce back after allowing Orlando to score 33 points in the first quarter and fell behind by 10.

“I am not going to make excuses, I am going to look at the tape, I’m going to look at the guys we have and try and figure out why we came out so poor,” head coach Scott Skiles said. “Because look at the final score, look at what happens. If we would have had any start to this game at all, it’s a game we could have won, with the way our roster is right now.”

The Atlanta Hawks lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers 110-96 on Friday, failing to cover the spread as a 12-point road underdog. The Hawks have lost five of their last seven overall and will be without starting forward Josh Smith, who has missed nine straight games with a sprained ankle, once again.

While Atlanta got 21 points from veteran swingman Maurice Evans and 20 points from backup point guard Acie Law IV, leading scorer Joe Johnson was held to just four points on 1-for-8 shooting.

“It was a tough night,” Johnson said.

Analysis: While the Hawks are playing at home in this matchup, I like the Milwaukee Bucks to cover the spread while pushing the struggling Hawks for the outright win.
