I still do not think much of Jason Kidd as a coach but it is hard to argue with the result of late.
This is a chance to really put a hurt on the Knicks playoff chances.

One of the underreported stories about Brooklyn is how Shaun Livingston has become a useful player again. Much to the chagrin of Deron Williams Livingston is giving some diversity to their offense and the spindly guard has helped breathe life into the game of Paul Pierce.
The talent the Nets have is impressive but they are so long in the tooth I just doubt how long they can keep this up. The Knicks will push the pace to try and create an advantage.
Brooklyn got a nice win against a Houston team that was missing some key pieced last night. Now they have to travel across the bridge and I think they might be a little winded before they get there.
They have a losing ATS mark away from home and Knicks will be looking to exact a little revenge after getting dominated the last time they played.

The Knicks have won their last two game and despite desperately trying to prove all season long that they are not playoff material and just one game out with 7 games to play.
That makes their margin of error razor thin so there will be pressure to win all of their remaining home games, at least.
All of their final games are against teams currently slotted for the playoffs.
With just a short sprint to go SF Carmelo Anthony could be the difference between making it or not. He has scored 30 or more points 5 times in the last 10 games and he can carry the team for stretches.
He can’t do it all on his own so the question remains who is going to step up with any frequency to push the Knicks across the finish line. All of their opponents are jockeying for position so there won’t be any easy outs for New York.
Backing the Knicks is a roller coaster for sure. You never know what you are going to get from game to game, regardless of venue so you have to be careful.
However, I still like this as a spot play on New York.
They are getting Brooklyn on 0 days rest and they should be as motivated as ever.
