They still have a lot of work to do and are not completely out of the woods due to injuries either with all everything Ben Zobrist maybe available later in the week at Jeremy Hellickson in mid June.
They are treading water though instead of sinking further.

Canadian native Erik Bedard has been a pleasant surprise for Tampa.
With a 2.63 ERA he has shown much better form than he did last year with Houston with his primary downfall being that he has not been working deep into games. in his last 5 starts he has not yielded more than 1ER but at the same time he has yet to work more than 6 innings.

He needs to watch his walks too.
Toronto
The Jays have been the best team in baseball this month. Over the weekend they followed up their road sweep of Boston with a home sweep of Oakland and everything is clicking like it hasn’t in a long time.
This is the top power hitting team in the Majors but over the weekend they showed that they can manufacture runs with speed among the best of them.
Leading that charge has been SS Jose Reyes, who swiped three bags on Sunday and scored from second on infield plays twice over the course of the weekend.
A big part of the Jays recent success has been starting pitching and Drew Hutchison has contributed largely. He has given up just 1ER over his last two starts and he will be looking to keeping it going Monday night.
In the opening series against Tampa he held the Rays to OER and just 3 hits over 6 innings.
That and his recent performance should mean his confidence is high for this evening.

If you like betting teams that are on a roll you can not do better than Toronto right now. That said the Jays also have an advantage on the mound in this one and their lineup is build to kill lefties like Bedard.
It is tempting to go over but I don’t know if Tampa can keep up their end of the bargain.
