The lefty has been positively awful this season, serving up six homers and walking 16 batters over 25.1 innings.
It really just looks like the former top prospect has lost it. He’s never faced his former team, the Tampa Bay Rays, but you can bet right-handed hitters Evan Longoria, B.J. Upton, Ben Zobrist and Pat Burrell are licking their chops.
Jeff Niemann is tough to figure out for tonight.
He’s been fantastic this year, going 2-0 with a 2.14 ERA on the road, but the Angels have hammered him in this past. 
Over two starts, he’s lasted a combined nine innings and allowed eight earned runs, walking six.
Niemann is due to get hit and I think he will tonight, but Kazmir should get hit even worse.
I’d bet on the Rays to win a slugfest.
Don’t be surprised if this is a four-hour game at Angel Stadium tonight.
