Cappers Tar Heels vs. Blue Devils Betting Trends + Pick

In Week 14 CFB betting action the North Carolina Tar Heels play the Duke Blue Devils this week, we preview and pick this matchup…

Struggling Teams Meet As Duke Hosts North Carolina

The North Carolina Tar Heels (7-4 SU, 5-5 ATS, 6-4 O/U) have dropped two straight games and are coming off a dismal 41-10 loss to ACC rivals, North Carolina State on Saturday where they failed to cover the spread for college football sports betting backers as an 11-point home favorite.

The Duke Blue Devils (4-7 SU, 6-4 ATS, 4-6 O/U) have lost four consecutive games and are coming off a 14-3 loss to Virginia Tech, but covered the spread for NCAA college football sports betting buffs as a 14.5-point road underdog in the BetUS Sportsbook.

Now, the longtime ACC rivals will both be looking to get back in the win column when they meet at Wallace Wade Stadium.

Tar Heels Quarterback T.J. Yates completed 10 of 22 passes for 116 yards with no touchdowns and one interception. The Tar Heels were held to a mind-boggling 56 total rushing yards in the loss.

“Our players and coaches are smart enough to know that if you play that poorly, you’re going to get beat,” said Davis, now 0-2 against the Wolfpack. “And if you turn the ball over six times, you’re going to got get beat badly.”

Duke was defeated 14-3 in Week 13 by Virginia Tech, but covered the spread for backers as a 15-point road underdog. Quarterback Paul Asack completed just 2 of 9 passes for just 20 yards.

NCAAF Odds

North Carolina -8½ -110
Duke +8½ -110

Analysis: I know the Blue devils are pretty pathetic BetUS NCAA college football bettors, but I wouldn’t think twice about taking them to cover the spread at home against a Tar heels team that is going backwards badly. Take the Blue Devils to out up a heck of a fight while covering the spread.

NCAAF Odds: Duke +8½ Points
