Cappers Bills vs. Jets Betting Trends + Pick

Preview and Week 9 NFL cappers matchup tips for this week’s Buffalo Bills vs. New York Jets matchup, plus an NFL Betting Preview, a look at the gambling trends, plus a free pick…

AFC East Showdown Features Bills Hosting Jets

The New York Jets (4-3, 3-4 ATS, 3-4 O/U) are coming off a come-from-behind 28-24 home victory over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, but have looked very shaky the last two weeks!

After subduing the San Diego Chargers in Week 7, the Buffalo Bills (5-2 SU, 4-3 ATS, 4-3 O/U) were man-handled by the Miami Dolphins in their 25-16 road loss on Sunday.

Jets quarterback Brett Favre was soundly booed after throwing his third interception of the game, but quieted Jets fans who attended the game by leading New York to victory over the lowly Chiefs.

“I’ve heard them in Green Bay before,” Favre said. “I don’t blame them, but it was a little premature, as we see now.”

Favre completed 28 of 40 passes for 290 yards and two touchdowns and hooked up with speedy wideout Laveranues Coles for the winning touchdown pass with just one minute remaining in regulation to escape with a narrow victory.

The Jets failed to cover as 14-point home favorites for backers who expected a rout over the struggling Chiefs and have dropped two straight ATS covers after falling to the Raiders 16-13 in overtime in Week 7. Running backs, Leon Washington and Thomas Jones each added rushing touchdowns for New York.

The Bills lost for the second time in their last three games and committed a whopping four, fourth quarter turnovers against the rejuvenated Dolphins.

“It’s a game that’s very disappointing,” Buffalo head coach Dick Jauron said. “We just gave up too many big plays and turned the ball over. You do that in the NFL and your odds of winning are not good.

Buffalo also failed to cover the spread as one-point road dogs while falling into a first-place tie with New England in the AFC East.

“I don’t know if we were ready to play the entire game,” said Bills quarterback Trent Edwards, who completed 21 of 35 passes for 227 yards but no touchdown passes.

Running back Marshawn Lynch was held to just 61 yards on 13 carries.
