HOT + NOT For Week 12 Fantasy Football

Looking for Internet Fantasy Predictions then look no further than our Dave B our fantasy expert weighing in on weekly fantasy football topics for Week 12 action…

HOT AND NOT WEEK 12

If you are in need of a HOT fantasy football player these Top Hot players for the week should help you out if they’re in your lineup. They may also be free agents on your waiver wire.

If you need to dump a lame duck on your team, these NOTS should be them. Throw em in the trash if you can afford to not have them on your bench. Fantasy Football always favors the prepared mind.

The more research you do, and the more HOT players you have to choose from on your team, the better your odds are of winning your fantasy football league outright this year.

After all of the weekly games are finished be sure to check our waiver wire column, studs and duds, a who’s hot, and who’s not report plus more in our fantasy football guide.

HEY FANTASY FOOTBALLERS!!!! EVER BET ON AN NFL GAME???? TRY OUR EXPERT PICKS!! —–>

Week 11 is over. Its nice to see a few of the usual suspect in the HOT column. It just means that the HOT aren’t letting me down. Unfortunately, there are some of my boys in the NOT column – very disappointing indeed.

HOT and NOT takes into account performances from previous weeks and looks ahead to favorable matchups going forward.

Here then is Week 11’s edition of Dave B’s HOT and NOT list.

HOT

Tom Brady – New England – Hasn’t passed for less than 300 yards since Week 5!!!! Absolutely on fire.

Brett Favre – Minnesota – Love it or Hate it, Favre is playing Lights out Football. 21 touchdowns and just 3 interception so far this year has Favre’s name creeping into the MVP chatter.

Aaron Rodgers – Green Bay – Has 8 multi touchdown games (had a couple of rushing tds. in there) in a row. Rodgers is many people’s Fantasy MVP so far this year, Rodgers will absolutely light up the Lions this Thursday. He’s as consistently HOT as they come right now.

Chris Johnson – Tennessee – Johnson is performing at a level not seen in a long time in the NFL. He is as MONEY as they come in terms of Fantasy. He is a Stats machine and maybe one of the best all around football players on the planet right now – ya – Johnson is HOT.

Steven Jackson – St. Louis – I’ve said it before but it bears repeating – Jackson is a man amongst boys on the St. Louis team. He carries that team week in and week out and manages solid Fantasy days every time out. You just know that Jackson will get 125 combined yards and a touchdown – you just do.

DeAngelo Williams – Carolina – Lets face it folks – Williams IS THE OFFENSE in Carolina. He has been a monster so far this year and I don’t see him slowing down.

Ricky Williams – Miami – The jury was out whether Williams could handle the #1 RB role in Miami. He answered all questions in Week 11 with 2 touchdowns rushing and 1 receiving. Buffalo is up next Dolphins – Williams is gonna be huge.

Sidney Rice – Minnesota – Superstar in the making in Minnesota. Since Week 5, Rice has been unstoppable – he’s averaged over 128 yards receiving over that span. Rice is HOT.

Wes Welker – New England – Get this – Welker has 53 catches in his LAST 5 GAMES!! Amazing numbers indeed. This Week is a bonafide shootout and Welker will be huge.

Reggie Wayne – Indianapolis Is there a quieter Stud in the NFL – I don’t even think I would recognize a picture of him right now!!!!! All this guy does is keep his mouth shut and put up numbers every week.

Tony Gonzalez – Atlanta – Playing like a Stud right now. He has not caught less than 3 balls in his last 4 games. Week 11 saw Gonzo have 8 catches 83 yards and a clutch touchdown. – Week 12, he gets the honor of playing the Buccaneers – HOT

NOT

Tony RomoDallas – Has put up 2 straight Dud games. Romo has thrown only 3 tds. in his last 3 games – he also thrown 3 interceptions. You guessed it folks – Romo’s NOT HOT.

Mark Sanchez – NY Jets – 2 touchdowns and 6 interceptions in his last 2 games. Thing will get easier (games against Carolina, Buffalo, and Tampa Bay coming up), but right now, Sanchez aint even luke warm.

Matt Hasselbeck – Seattle – This team is coming apart at the seams right now. Hasselbeck is playing on a BAD team and the likes of Nate Burleson, TJ Houshmandzadeh, and John Carlson can make Hasselbeck look good. He might see better numbers against St. Louis and San Francisco, but for right now, Matt aint HOT.

Bills RBS – Fred Jackson hasn’t topped 48 yards rushing over his last 4 games and Marshawn Lynch hasn’t eclipsed 43 yards over the same span. You do the math! Brutal!!!!

Giants RBS – Hard to believe that a backfield of Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw has ranked near the bottom of the league in rushing over the 5 games. These guys are hurting their team right now and better get going if the Giants want to challenge this year. Bradshaw probably won’t play this week (bad back) so its up to Jacobs.

Pierre Thomas – New Orleans Had an OK game against the Bucs in Week 11, but Reggie Bush, Mike Bell, and even some dude named Linell Hamilton are stealing a lot of Thomas’s thunder.

TJ Houshmandzadeh – Seattle – Had one huge game in his last 5 (165 yards against the Cardinals), but the rest have been Duds. Housh hasn’t gone over 36 yards receiving in 4 of his last 5. Ugly numbers for certain.

Miles Austin – Dallas – Austin’s meteoric rise has come at a cost. No longer is he sneaking up on opposing Defenses. Coaches are scheming to stop Austin’s big play abilityfrequent double teams have really affected Austin’s numbers. Case in point? Average of 3 caches and 39 yards over his last 3 games. It’s a far cry from where he was only a month ago.

Brandon Marshall – Denver – Seems like the captain of a sinking ship doesn’t he? Marshall’s woes coincide with the Broncos total collapse from legitimacy. 26 yards receiving in his last game and this week, he has to play the hungry Giants with an injured Quarterback.

Bears WRS – Nobody thought that this was an elite group of receivers, but their numbers are amongst the worst in the NFL. When you have a Pro Bowl QB throwing the ball, receivers should be noticeable at the very least. The Bears’ Wideouts have simply been invisible and therefore are NOT HOT.

Jason Witten – Dallas – Where have you hidden Jason Witten? All – world coming into the season, Witten continues to disappoint. 1 stinkin touchdown this year – 1!!! Witten hasn’t topped 50 yards in his last 4 either = NOT HOT.

John Carlson – Seattle – He’s caught 1 pass in his last 2 games – THAT”S IT! Carlson is not a big part of the Seattle Offense right now at all.
