Week 11 was fun eh? There were some incredible games and some incredible individual performances. Unfortunately, some previous Studs failed to show up on Sunday and rightfully ended up on the Dud list.

Enjoy Dave B’s Week 11 edition of the Studs and Duds list. Leave a comment if I left one of your favourites out!

Studs of the Week:

Greg Jennings – Green Bay Packers – Jennings was an absolute beast on Sunday. He had 7 catches, 152 yards and three touchdowns. He is the Stud that we all thought he would be!

Steve Johnson – Buffalo Bills – Another receiver with 3 touchdowns! Johnson caught 8 passes for 137 yards and those 3 scores! He has turned into the most unlikely Stud in the NFL.

Other Studs

QBs

Aaron Rodgers – Green Bay Packers – Rodgers nearly squeaked in for Stud of the Week honours. He went 21/32 for 301 yards and 4 touchdowns and was a big reason that the Packers annihilated the Vikings on Sunday.

Ryan Fitzpatrick – Buffalo Bills – Fitz has become one of the best Fantasy players in the land. He also threw for 4 touchdowns. When all was said and done, Ryan passed for 316 yards to help the Bills destroy Cincinnati.

Ben Roethlisberger – Pittsburgh Steelers – Big Ben shook off a disappointing effort last week, threw for 275 yards and 3 scores while adding another 55 yards and a touchdown on the ground! Stud!

Drew Brees – New Orleans Saints – Brees carved up the Seahawks on Sunday, passing for 382 yards and 4 touchdowns. Two interceptions don’t deter me from adding Mr. Brees to the Stud list.

Honourable Mention: Mark Sanchez – NY Jets, Donovan McNabb – Washington Redskins, Peyton Manning – Indianapolis Colts, Matt Hasselbeck – Seattle Seahawks

RBs

Maurice Jones-Drew – Jacksonville Jaguars – MJD had 219 combined yards on Sunday – 132 yards and a touchdown on the ground and 87 yards receiving. He has been incredible during the Jaguars improbable streak and is certainly worthy of a Stud classification.

Fred Jackson – Buffalo Bills – Jackson rushed for 116 yards and scored two touchdowns to help the Bills beat the Bengals. He and his whole team were absolute Suds on Sunday!

Chris Johnson – Tennessee Titans – The Titans lost on Sunday, but it certainly wasn’t Johnson’s fault. He was a threat each and every time that he touched the ball and continues to be one of the few Studs on the Titans roster.

Honourable Mention: Arian Foster – Houston Texans, Mike Goodsen – Carolina Panthers, Michael Turner – Atlanta Falcons

WRs

Santonio Holmes – NY Jets – The Jets keep winning in incredible fashion and for the second week in a row, it is thanks to Santonio Holmes. Against the Texans, he caught 7 passes for 126 yards and two touchdowns including the go-ahead score with 10 seconds remaining – Stud!

Dwayne Bowe – Kansas City Chiefs – Is there a hotter pass catcher in the NFL? Another two scores on 109 yards receiving has Bowe on the Stud list yet again!

Marques Colston – New Orleans Saints – Colston took advantage of a bad Seattle defense and caught 8 balls for 113 yards and 2 touchdowns on Sunday – Stud!

Duds of the Week:

Randy Moss – Tennessee Titans – Zero, Nada, Zilch!! Moss may be the Dud of the Year, not just Dud of the Week! In the two games for Tennessee, Moss has a combine 1 catch. 1!!!

Ahmad Bradshaw – NY Giants – 29 yards on 12 carries in a pivotal game on Sunday night is an embarrassment for Bradshaw. Add in a costly fumble and there is no doubt that Ahmad was a Sunday Dud!

Vernon Davis – San Francisco 49ers – Davis had a bad week and those of you depending on him are probably pulling your hair out. He had 1 catch on the day for a whopping 3 yards!

Other Duds:

QBs

Jay Cutler – Chicago Bears – If you listened to the commentators on NFL Network, you would have thought Cutler passed for 300 yards and 3 scores. Instead, against a wounded Dolphins team, Cutler passed for just 156 yards, zero touchdowns and 1 interception – Dud!

Brett Favre – Minnesota Vikings – This could realistically be the last time that Favre is mentioned in this column. In potentially his last game, Favre passed for 208 yards, no touchdowns and 1 interception. I love it!!!

Jason Campbell – Oakland Raiders – Campbell had been playing lights out but a Dud performance may have pushed him to the bench! Bruce Gradkowski may replace this Dud after 7 for 19 passing for 70 yards and an interception.

Honourable Mention: Eli Manning – New York Giants

RBs

Miami Dolphins RBs – There was absolutely no support for Tyler Thigpen on Thursday night.  Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams combined for 12 yards rushing on 10 carries and only added a combined 31 yards receiving. The whole Dolphin team deserves Dud designation!

Darren McFadden – Oakland Raiders – McFadden entered Sunday’s game as the hottest RB in the game. Against Pittsburgh, he gained 14 yards on the ground and 16 yards through the air. 30 combined yards makes you a Dud Mr. McFadden!

Frank Gore – San Francisco 49ers – I hate to call Gore a Dud but the numbers don’t lie! He ran the ball 12 times for a measly 23 yards and only caught 5 passes for 37 yards.  His Dud performance was a huge reason that the 49ers lost a pivotal game on Sunday.

Honourable Mention: Steven Jackson – St. Louis Rams, Marshawn Lynch – Seattle Seahawks

WRs

Percy Harvin – Minnesota Vikings – I know that it is not all his fault but 2 catches for 12 yards? Absolutely brutal performance for one of the best!
Anquan Boldin – Baltimore Ravens – In a game that the Ravens scored 37 points, Boldin only had 3 catches for 29 yards, making him an unlikely Dud!
Andre Johnson – Houston Texans – Revis Island is a real thing folks! AJ only caught 4 balls for 32 yards on what was a rare Dud performance on Sunday.
