Week 1 NFL Injuries

Here’s the week 1 report to help you with your fantasy football teams. We scoped out the leagues post game newswires to bring you an up to date list of important team injuries for week 1 of the NFL football season.

The NFL week 1 injury report, or as we’ve always called it, “The Sunday Shelf”.

Week 1 Injuries

Brian Urlacher likely out for the season with wrist injury, he team has not given the official word, but Lovie Smith is expected to address the issue during his afternoon press conference.

Starter Pisa Tinoisamoa also might be sidelined for a bit after spraining the posterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.

Troy Palomalu has an MCL tear. He should not need surgery. 3-6 Weeks.

QB Donovan McNabb suffered a fractured rib.

Colts WR Anthony Gonzalez suffered a strained right knee ligament during the first quarter against the Jags. You have got to think Indy will pick up the phone and feel out Marvin Harrison about a comeback?

Seahawks OLB Leroy Hill has a groin injury. And later in the game MLB Lofa Tatupu grabbed himself a hamstring injury, both should be ready by next week.

Two Giants look like they could have serious injuries. RB Danny Ware (Dislocated Elbow), and Hakeem Nicks (Lower leg injury).

Browns Rookie RB James Davis went out in the second half versus the Vikings.

Josh McCown playing for a struggling Jake Delhomme suffered a sprained knee and foot at the hands of the new look Eagles D.

Cowboys safety Gerald Sansabaugh has bruised ribs.

Texans WR Andre Davis got nailed with a good ole Concussion.

Patriots We Welker is a game-time decision for Monday night.

The Bear’s Urlacher is out for the season as he dislocated his wrist. McNabb has a nasty rib fracture that could keep him out a couple of games which would make this week’s game against the Saints a brutal home opener.
