Some big games on the schedule this week in the final regular season game for most teams, including a major showdown game in the state of Alabama. Let’s take a look at the top 10 teams and their chances of moving up, or down on Sunday when the next set of rankings are released. Odds courtesy BetOnline.
1. Alabama Crimson Tide (11-0, previous: 1)
Alabama’s tune-up game against Chattanooga was a breeze, as the Crimson Tide steamrolled the Mocs, 49-0. On Saturday, the Tide will travel to Jordan-Hare Stadium for the weekend’s marquee matchup between the top-ranked Tide and the fourth-ranked Auburn Tigers. Alabama could be knocked right out of the title game picture with a loss, as Auburn would represent the SEC West in the SEC championship game with a win. Alabama is a 10.5-point favorite in the game.
2. Florida State Seminoles (11-0, previous: 2)
Florida State beat Boston College by 14 points but hasn’t won any of their other games by fewer than 27 points, scoring 41 or better while allowing 17 or fewer points each time. In their last three contests, the Seminoles have outscored opponents 198-20, including an 80-14 drubbing of Idaho last weekend.
On Saturday they get a reeling Florida team in a rivalry game that’s lost some of its luster given Florida’s loss to FCS school Georgia Southern last weekend.
3. Ohio State Buckeyes (11-0, previous: 4)
Ohio State hit a stumbling block in the middle part of their schedule, but they are back in cruise control, beating Indiana 42-14 over the weekend. On Saturday they’ll go to the Big House to take on a disappointing Michigan squad as 14.5-point favorites. The Buckeyes are 23-0 under Urban Meyer.
4. Auburn Tigers (10-1, previous: 6)
Auburn needed their prayer to be answered to sneak past Georgia on a late Hail Mary on Saturday. They’ll need some other-worldly assistance again on Saturday if they hope to get past Alabama in the Iron Bowl.
5. Missouri Tigers (10-1, previous: 8)
The return of James Franklin gave Missouri a boost in a 24-10 win over Ole Miss. The team will need him to provide some extra offense on Saturday when they host an inspired Johnny Manziel in what will likely be his final collegiate game. The Tigers are installed as 4.5-point favorites in the contest.

6. Clemson Tigers (10-1, previous: 7)
Clemson didn’t have any trouble with Citadel in a 52-6 thrashing. The team has scored better than 50 points in each of their last three contests, but now go to Columbia to face a tough Gamecocks team as five-point underdogs.
7. Oklahoma State Cowboys (10-1, previous 11)
The Cowboys made an awful lot of noise on Saturday when they ripped apart Baylor, 49-17. They get a week off before another big-time matchup with Oklahoma.
8. Stanford Cardinal (9-2, previous: 10)
Stanford walked all over California on Saturday in a 50-point win, and oddsmakers expect them to continue to roll on Saturday when they host Notre Dame as 14-point favorites.
9. Baylor Bears (9-1, previous: 3)
Baylor’s blown out teams all year prior to last week’s stumble against Oklahoma State. The team is expected to get back to blowing team’s out as they’ll be giving away 13.5 points to TCU on the road on Saturday.
10. South Carolina Gamecocks (9-2, previous: 12)
Outside of a couple pitfalls on the road in the SEC, South Carolina has been everything we expected this season, and will give away five points to a 10-1 Clemson team on Saturday. The Gamecocks have won four in a row in the series, outscoring the Tigers 124-54 in those contests.
The Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers are set to clash on Thanksgiving night in a battle of 5-6 teams. These AFC North rivals have put on some of the more entertaining defensive battles in recent memory, and with a national audience Thursday should be no different.
