NFL Betting – St. Louis Rams vs. Arizona Cardinals
The St. Louis Rams are a mess. The Arizona Cardinals, up until the disaster against the Philadelphia Eagles on Thanksgiving Night, were one of the best offensive teams in the NFL. I say offensive teams because the Cardinals’ defense has been exposed more than once this season. Arizona has the best wide receiver in the NFL playing for them, Larry Fitzgerald. There could be some debate from sports betting fans, but not from me. The guy has never dropped the ball. The Cardinals are still the class of the NFC West even though they were throttled by the Eagles in their last. Arizona is 7 and 5 straight-up and 7 and 5 against the BetUS Sportsbook online betting spread.
Kick-off: 4:15 pm EST.
The St. Louis Rams should be better than what their straight-up and against the spread record indicates. They have some talent on offense and some talent on defense, but for some reason this team is in shambles. They have no real leadership on either side of the ball. That has to account for something. NFL betting wise this is one of the worst teams in the NFL as their 2 and 10 straight-up record and 4 and 8 against the spread record indicates.
St. Louis Rams + 14 – 110 + 500 O 48 ½ – 110
Arizona Cardinals – 14 – 110 – 700 U 48 ½ – 110
Here are a few online wagering trends that might help us find a good online bet in this game:
The St. Louis Rams are 2 and 8 against the spread in their last 10 games versus an opponent from the NFC Conference.
The Under is 11 and 4 in the St. Louis Rams last 15 games on grass.
The Arizona Cardinals are 12 and 5 against the spread in their last 17 games following a straight-up loss.
The Over is 7 and 0 in the Arizona Cardinals last 7 games at home.
Every single trend imaginable says that the Cardinals destroy the St. Louis Rams, easily covering the online betting spread of 14 points, and that this game goes over.
But, I’m not that kind of online NFL betting fan. I prefer to look deeper into stats in order to find what I think might happen. The truth is that the St. Louis Rams shouldn’t be able to score at all in this game. I see maybe ten points coming out of the Rams. In order to get the over on the BetUS Total online football betting fans would need the Cardinals to rack up 39 points. It’s doable but I’m not going to make an online wager on it.
Rams vs. Cardinals Week 14 Prediction:
Instead, I’m going to go in the opposite direction. The best online bet in this game is to take the under on the BetUS Total at 48 ½. The Cardinals should win easily but why take the chance? The Rams won’t score enough for this game to even sniff the over.
