The Pittsburgh Steelers will look for a bounce back effort on Monday night when they travel to Nashville to take on the Tennessee Titans. On paper, this game looks like a mismatch but so did Pittsburgh’s last game against the New York Jets – a game the Steelers lost in shocking fashion.

Can the Titans emulate what the Jets did last week or will Big Ben get back on a record-setting track Monday?

Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers looked to be on a path to an easy NFC North Championship just two weeks ago – Ben Roethlisberger threw an NFL record 12 TDs in two games and the team looked absolutely unstoppable on both sides of the ball. Then came Week 10 – a week that saw the Steelers fall out of first place in the AFC North thanks to a shocking 20-13 loss to the New York Jets.

Big Ben threw three picks last week after failing to thrown any during his historic run and star Antonio Brown fumbled twice – both have a chance to right the ship against a Tennessee defense that has allowed 369 yards per game this season. As mentioned Antonio Brown had an uncharacteristically bad game in Week 10, LeVeon Bell wasn’t utilized nearly enough and Big Ben was clearly off – something that likely won’t happen against the Titans.

Big Ben will look to get Antonio Brown back into action, he will utilize breakout star Martavis Bryant and he is sure to get LeVeon Bell more involved against a Titans run defense that is third-worst in the NFL and averaging 137 yards against per game.

Defensively the Steelers have been good – James Harrison’s return has been a boon for this squad. Troy Polamalu has already been ruled out but the Steelers likely won’t need him that badly against an underwhelming Tennessee offense.

Titans

Not a whole lot has gone right for the Tennessee Titans this year – they enter on a three game losing streak – the last of which came at the hands of the Baltimore Ravens who ran all over them. Now they face the prospect of facing an upset Steelers team that is sure to feature one of the most promising running backs in the league – LeVeon Bell.

The Titans will head into Monday’s game with the league’s second-worst offense that averages just 16 points per game. Rookie QB Zach Mettenberger has looked OK at times in his limited action but is always quick to remind us that he is a rookie and bound to make mistakes. He threw for just 179 yards last week with one interceptions and he absorbed five sacks. To make matters worse, his leading receiver and safety blanket Delanie Walker is highly questionable with a concussion.

Rookie running back Bishop Sankey should get his share of work this week against Pittsburgh’s 20th ranked run defense that will be without Troy Polamalu.

[dfads params=’groups=63752&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

He has yet to show the form that made him the first RB taken in this year’s draft – a poor offensive line and the lack of a reliable passing game to keep defenses honest can take some of the blame.

NFL Week 11 Betting Trends

• Over is 9-3 in PIT last 12 games on grass.
• TEN are 1-8-2 ATS in their last 11 vs. AFC.
• TEN are 3-12-2 ATS in their last 17 games overall.
• TEN are 3-10-2 ATS in their last 15 games on grass.

The Steelers are 2-3 ATS on the road this season and they have scored just 23 combined points in their last two.

NFL Week 11 Betting Prediction

But the Titans are 0-3-1 ATS at home this season. Simply put the Titans are a bad team – expect a fired up Steelers team to takes some frustrations out Monday.
