The schedule softens up a bit from here on but there is so much wrong with this team right now it is hard to predict what will happen.
Getting shutout by Alabama was one thing but losing by 48 to Texas A&M…Ughh!.

The Razorbacks essentially have the worst performing defense in major college football (there might be a few who are statistically worse but this is an SEC team so come on). As a result, no matter how much yardage Tyler WIlson puts up, it isn’t enough.
In 3 games against BCS competition they are averaging just 12 ppg which makes it pretty tough to win and is shocking because this was supposed to be best offense in the SEC this year.
It is hard to imagine these teams have just two wins between them at this stage of the season. Before the season started I think Arkansas would have actually been a favourite in this spot so you can see how things have really changed.
The Arkansas defense has been brutal but it is not like Auburn is a juggernaut on the offensive side of the ball to fully exploit it. I think they can make this one more than respectable.
Auburn
Auburn too has to be disappointed, although unlike Arkansas they were able to knock off Louisiana-Monroe. [soliloquy id=”82219″]
They have been much more respectable like with close losses to Clemson and very nearly knocking off LSU a couple of weeks back. While Arkansas’s biggest problem is defense the Tigers are among the worst offensive teams in the country.
This should be interesting.
Quarterback Kiehl Frazier was a top recruit to try and replace Cam Newton but has been a total bust.
Defenses are just daring him to throw so they can add to the 7 interceptions he has already tossed this season. It is amazing that there has been any running room at all for backs Tre Mason and Ontario McCalebb considering.
They are both already over 200 yards on the season. The defense will have to be sharp to halt their losing streak.
I don’t like Auburn here because I think they would have to score about 27 points to make this number stick.
I am pretty sure they can’t do that, even against a defense as porous as Arkansas’. In the Cam Newton year they were favoured by just 3.5 against the Razorback at home.
Sure things are different now but they are favoured by 10. Just doesn’t seem right.
