NBA Betting parlay – Suns vs. Wizards / Clippers vs. Pelicans

NBA Wednesday Parlay – March 26

The NBA regular season close out the month of March and turning to this Wednesday’s schedule there is plenty to choose from when it comes to wagering on the games. We’ve got the Suns vs. Wiz, and Clippers vs. Pelicans. [ad-4468020]

After breaking down all the matchups I am ready to release two picks that come together perfectly to form this week’s ‘NBA Wednesday Parlay’. The following is a brief look at both games based on lines by BetOnline.

Game 1: Phoenix Suns vs. Washington Wizards

Pointspread: Washington -1.5
Total Line: 210
ATS Matchup Stats | NBA Gambling Insight!

The Suns extended their current winning streak to four games with Monday night’s 102-95 victory over Atlanta as 2.5-point road favorites.

They are currently tied with Dallas for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference so every game from here on in almost remains a ‘must win’ situation.

Phoenix has now won seven of its last eight road games against a team from the East both straight-up and against the spread.

Washington is holding down the sixth playoff spot in the East with an overall SU record of 36-34. It has stumbled to a 1-3 mark SU and ATS in its last four games and it is just 3-5 SU in its last eight outings with a 2-6 record ATS.

The Wizards continue to beat the teams in the league they are supposed to, but have struggled with a 0-5 SU record in their last five games against a team from the West with a SU winning record. Stick with the Suns to run their streak to five with the SU win on the road.

Game 2: Los Angeles Clippers vs. New Orleans Pelicans

Pointspread: Los Angeles -1
Total Line: 209.5
ATS Matchup Stats | NBA Gambling Insight!

Other than San Antonio, the Clippers are the hottest team in the NBA with a 13-1 SU record in their last 14 games.

They have not been all that profitable to wager on lately with a 2-5-1 ATS record in their last eight outings. What caught my heading into this matchup is the fact that the total has stayed UNDER in 11 of their last 12 games.

Los Angeles is the highest scoring team in the NBA and it has averaged 110.8 points per game in its last 14 games so naturally it gets strapped with a number of highly inflated total betting lines. The total has been set at 210 or higher in eight of their last 10 games.

New Orleans is out of the running in the West with an overall record of 30-40, but it continues to play hard with a 7-3 SU record in its last 10 games.

The Pelicans have averaged 100.2 PPG this season, but they have exceeded this number in eight of their last 10 games despite dealing with a number of key injuries to some of its top scorers.

The total has gone OVER in nine of their last 10 games. Given the current scoring trends with both these teams and the resulting total lines the Oddmakers have set in response, it becomes obvious that something has to give in this matchup.

Based on a projected total line of 209.5, the play in this one is the UNDER in the back-end of this week’s parlay.
