Sixers Host Clippers, Brand Faces Former Team
The Los Angeles Clippers (2-9 SU, 2-9 ATS, 6-5 O/U) snapped their three-game losing streak in the BetUS Sportsbook their last time out. The Philadelphia 76ers (5-6 SU, 5-6 ATS, 4-7 O/U) saw their modest three-game winning streak abruptly halted in their last contest.

Power forward Elton Brand makes his first appearance against his former ballclub after shocking them by leaving to join the Sixers as a free agent this summer, signing a five-year deal worth nearly $80 million in the process.
“We had a great relationship the whole time he was here,” Clippers head coach Mike Dunleavy said. “It’s surprising, some things you can’t figure out. I don’t know why he left. All the e-mails we exchanged were positive. All of a sudden, it just fell off a cliff.”
Brand, who scored 19 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in the loss to Minnesota, said he never made any commitment to Los Angeles.
“My intention was to try and work something out with the Clippers,” he said.
