NFL Week 9 Free Pick – Broncos Look to Snap Two-Game Skid against Surprising Dolphins

The inconsistent Denver Broncos (4-3 SU, 1-5-1 ATS, 4-2-1 O/U) have dropped two straight games while failing to cover the spread in a whopping five straight games!

The rebuilding Miami Dolphins (3-4 SU, 4-3 ATS, 4-3 O/U) have been a huge surprise for BetUS NFL online sports betting fanatics.

Both teams will be looking to pick up a victory in the BetUS Sportsbook when they battle at INVESCO Field at Mile High on Sunday.

The Broncos will be well-rested for this contest after getting a bye in Week 8 following their dismal 41-7 road loss to New England in their Monday night showdown on Oct. 20 after falling at home to Jacksonville, 24-17 on Oct. 12.

Denver will look to snap their two-game skid and beat Miami and pick up a much-needed ATS win for backers after recording five straight ATS losses for BetUS NFL sports betting enthusiasts everywhere.

The Broncos saw brothers, Boss and Champ Bailey injured in their last game, but more importantly according to Champ, showed a lack of desire to beat the resurgent Patriots.

“Standing on the sidelines, you can see that the sense of urgency was not there,” Champ Bailey said.

Young quarterback Jay Cutler completed 17-for-26 passes for 168 yards and one touchdown but negated those statistics by tossing two interceptions while also getting injured slightly in the game when he hit his throwing hand on Patriots linebacker Vince Wilfork’s helmet.

Denver’s 30th-ranked defense has been shredded on several occasions and allowed Patriots quarterback Matt Cassel to go a ‘Tom Brady-like’ 18-for-24 for 185 yards and three touchdowns while also allowing veteran running back Sammy Morris to run for 138 yards and one touchdown on just 16 carries.

The Broncos will face a Dolphins team that is coming off a convincing 25-16 home win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday in which they covered as 1-point favorites and allowed just seven second-half points and none in the pivotal fourth quarter when they dominated a solid Bills team.

Veteran quarterback Chad Pennington completed 22 of 30 passes for 314 yards and one touchdown while hooking up with wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr. seven times for a whopping 175 yards. Former rushing title winner Ricky Williams added another touchdown on the ground.

Ginn, Miami’s first round draft pick in 2007, had a breakout game after struggling through a tough rookie season and start to the 2008 regular season.

“A lot of people are wondering, ‘Where’s Ted? Where’s Ted?”‘ Pennington said. “With young receivers it takes awhile. He just keeps getting better and better. He’s hungry, and he wants to be the guy.”

NFL Odds

Miami Dolphins +3 +105
Denver Broncos -3 -125

Over 49 -110
Under 49 -110

Analysis: I like the Under first and foremost in this contest BetUS NFL sports betting members. The Broncos haven’t scored over 19 points in any of their last f our games and will be facing a Miami defense that is growing and improving quickly.

I do like the Broncos to somehow manage to get the win and cover spread by the narrowest of margins to snap their five-game ATS winless streak in the BetUS Sportsbook.
