Utah vs. Alabama Sugar Bowl Gambling

NCAAF: BETTORS NOT BUYING UTAH

The Utah Utes put together a tremendous season to make the BCS out of the Mountain West Conference but bettors aren’t buying them as nine-point underdogs against Alabama.

A whopping 76% of the support for Friday night’s Sugar Bowl is backing the Alabama Crimson Tide as nine-point favorites over the Utes, who crash the BCS party for the second time in four seasons.

Eastern Carolina vs. Kentucky Liberty Bowl Gambling

NCAAF: LIBERTY BOWL HITTING UNDER

Liberty Bowl bettors are backing the Over for Thursday’s Liberty Bowl but Sportsbook.com members should take a closer look at the Under for the matchup between East Carolina and Kentucky.

The Liberty Bowl has been an amazingly solid wager for Under bettors and has hit Under the Total in 13 of the last 16 contests. Despite that, the trends show that 78% like the chances of this game going Over the 41-point total.

Mississippi vs. Texas Tech Cotton Bowl Gambling

NCAAF: BIG 12 BIAS IN COTTON BOWL

The Texas Tech Red Raiders out of the Big 12 are getting plenty of support from bettors as they face the Mississippi Rebels in Friday’s Cotton Bowl.

The Red Raiders are 4 ½-point favorites and 80% of bettors are backing them.

Texas Tech flirted with the #1 national ranking this season and its only blemish came at Oklahoma. Still, the Red Raiders are the annual team left outside of the BCS looking in, thanks to a crowded Big 12 South Division field.

Minnesota vs. Kansas Insight Bowl Gambling

NCAAF: INSIGHT BOWL BETTING

Minnesota made one of the best turnarounds in college football this season, but they are heavy dogs at Phoenix’s Insight Bowl against Kansas tonight.

The Jayhawks are eight-point favorites and 71% of bettors are backing them.

Minnesota (7-5, 7-4 ATS) finished with four straight losses, but this bowl experience should be cherished after a 1-10 2007 campaign.

Hawaii vs. Notre Dame Hawaii Bowl Gambling

CFB: Hawaii Bowl generates betting buzz

For a bowl game being played Christmas Eve night, matching two teams totaling a dozen defeats, this contest has gotten a fair amount of buzz.

With the Notre Dame Fighting Irish listed as 2 ½-point favorites in Hawaii and playing after a nice vacation, this is an intriguing matchup. It will also either symbolize the dawning of a new era for Charlie Weis and Notre Dame or start the slow dance ritual of Weis being shown the door in about 11 months.

Missouri vs. Northwestern Alamo Bowl Gambling

NCAAF: Tigers face another large spread

The Missouri Tigers have faced a number of big spreads this season – without much success.

As the #21 Tigers enter Monday’s Valero Alamo Bowl against the #23 Northwestern Wildcats as 12 ½-point favorites, bettors should be reminded that Missouri has covered just three of their last 10 games.
