Week 16 DFS Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Rankings – Fan Duel
It’s Fantasy Football Championship Week – time for all of you hard work the last 4+ months to either pay off or let you down. I am here to hopefully shed some light on what should pay you off! There are some quality Wide Receiver matchups for us to ride this week – ones that are certain to take us over the top in our Fantasy leagues.
So which Wide Receivers can we trust to take us to the promise land? Let’s take a peek at the top 5 Fantasy Wide Receiver plays for Week 16 of the NFL season.
1. Antonio Brown, Steelers
Ya, this one is a no- doubter. Brown has been absolutely unstoppable as of late – how about 16 catches for 189 yards and 2 TDs last week against the Broncos #1 pass defense? Brown, in his last three home games has at least 100 yards receiving and has scored 2 TDs in each of those games – something similar could be coming down the pike against the brutal Baltimore pass defense! If you have Brown congratulations – expect 10 or so grabs this week for 125 yards at very least and 1, likely 2 TDs. Baltimore will look like a picnic after last week’s game against Denver!
2. Allen Robinson, Jaguars
I really like the Jags to light up the scoreboard this week against a terrible New Orleans pass defense that made Matt Stafford look like a Hall-of-Famer on Monday night. Blake Bortles and the Jacksonville offense has been on fire. Robinson and Allen Hurns take a ton of pressure off of each other – Robinson has been the main beneficiary with 13 TDs on the year and four 100+ yards games. I like him to make it 5 on Sunday with a score along the way. He should carve up the Saints to the tune of 125+ yards with serious upside.
3. Brandon Marshall, Jets
Marshall had been scorching before a bizarre Fantasy game in Dallas last week. A lot of you are scared off by his matchup with the Patriots this week but I am not deterred. The Jets are going to have to throw to keep up in this one and there is no better weapon in the passing game than Marshall. He scored in six straight games before last week – I like him to start a new streak this week as Ryan Fitzpatrick looks to him early and often. 100 yards and a TD is what I see for Marshall this week as the Jets try to hang with a team they are going to have to beat at some time this year is they want to be Champs!
4. DeAndre Hopkins, Texans
Brandon Weeden will likely be the starting QB for the Texans this week and we all saw what he did to Dez Bryant! That said Houston’s offensive game plan is absolutely dependent on getting the ball into Hopkins hands. I think he gets his share this week – 8 catches for 80-100 yards and a TD. You’ve been riding him all year long with a ton of success – no reason to stop now against a sketchy Tennessee pass defense that has given up 13 TD passes in the last four games! If Hoyer plays upgrade Hopkins dramatically!
5. Doug Baldwin, Seahawks
Baldwin has been on a historical pace for the Seahawks – he has 10 TDs in his last four games with multiple TDs in all four of those contests. No reason to think a dropoff is imminent – Baldwin is a huge part of a Seattle offense that just can’t be stopped right now. Forget about the first matchup of the season between the teams – Seattle is sizzling and the Rams have takes a step back. At home Baldwin should feast again – 80 yards and another 2 TDs isn’t too much to ask here!
