Week 14 DFS Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Rankings – Fan Duel
The Fantasy Football Regular season is in the book – time to start thinking about which players will take you to the promise land during the Fantasy playoffs! The Wide Receiver position could well determine the victor in your league – to have a difference maker Odell Beckham or Antonio Brown is a luxury that can’t be overstated. There are a number of other WRs that are locks for a huge week – their matchups are just too juicy to ignore.
So which Wide Receivers can we trust in the first week of the Fantasy playoffs? Let’s take a peek at the top 5 Wide Receiver plays for Week 14 of the NFL season.
1. Antonio Brown, Steelers
Is there a better pass catcher in the NFL? Maybe the #2 on this list is but Brown has been sizzling as of late thanks to Ben Roethlisberger. He only had 6 catches for 47 yards and a TD in the first meeting against Cincinnati but the Steelers are on a totally different level at the moment. It’s true that Brown has competition for catches with Marcus Wheaton and Martavis Bryant coming on but the added attention on those guys should act to free up Brown to have a great game in Cincinnati. 125 yards and a TD on 10 catches this week for my favorite receiver in the game.
2. Odell Beckham Jr., Giants
The Giants get the horrendous Miami pass defense on Monday night. Expect Beckham to put on an absolute clinic in that game! He has gone over 100 yards in five straight games ahead of this week – don’t expect the streak to stop in Week 14. He has been a lock for 100 yards and a TD almost every week and is seeing 12-14 targets per game – no reason to overthink this one! Beckham is an absolute Stud and should be able to extend his 100+ yard streak this week to go along with 1, likely 2 scores. I have him at #2 but Beckham’s upside should have him #1.
3. DeAndre Hopkins, Texans
Has there been a bigger money receiver in the game this year? I don’t think so. Hopkins IS the Texans offense – period and with an angry Patriots team coming to town this offense is absolutely going to have to score. He has five games of over 100 yards to go along with 10 TDs already this year – my guess is that he adds to those impressive totals in Week 14. 8 catches for 100+ yards and a TD are essential this week for his team – Brian Hoyer knows he has to find a way to get the ball in Hopkins hands.
4. A.J. Green, Bengals
Green has caught fire once again and should be able to continue his role in what has potential to be a shootout against the Steelers bad secondary. The last time these teams met Green caught 11 balls for 118 yards and a TD – I actually like him to eclipse those numbers this week. He has three TDs in his last two games and enters as one of the hotter pass catchers in the league. Green will be targeted a ton and will do a lot with his looks. Around 10 catches for 125 yards and 1, maybe 2 TDs is where I see Green this week.
5.Allen Robinson, Jaguars
Robinson exploded last week – 153 yards receiving and 3 TDs. I don’t expect those numbers with Allen Hurns returning from a concussion. Blake Bortles is scorching at the moment however and Robinson is his favorite target. Expect a ton of attention again this week for Robinson against a Colts secondary that has been lit up of late. 6 catches for 100 yards and a TD make Robinson a surprising top 5 receiver this week.
