Cappers Sports Picks - The Experts

Guardians sit at the brink of elimination here and we should see the world backing the White Sox here on Wednesday. White Sox have won 5 of the last 7 games here and they have a strong home record this season but with all the action here on the White Sox and this rock bottom price to get in on Chicago it really sends my antennas up for this game.

Play on the Cleveland Guardians on ML rotation #937

Love love love the Atlanta Braves at home on the ML with all world Chris Sale on the mound who has just been lights out this season. Yamamoto has been strong as well but the Braves at home riding that game 2 upset win are in a perfect spot here to take a lead in the series. Braves have won 6 of the last 7 head to head with the Dodgers tonight will be more of the same.

Play on the Atlanta Braves on the ML rotation #934

I jumped on the Boston Red Sox just before my vacation in early June and this team just flipped that switch. This number has come down a bit in spots despite very heavy Yankees betting. Sure Cam Schlittler has been amazing down the stretch but I love Payton Tolle to match Cam here tonight. Love the plus money with the better team.

Play on the Boston Red Sox ML rotation #941

I am going to go here with the Chicago White Sox on the ML. Sure this White Sox team not great on the road but this Astros team limped into the playoffs and Chicago just a stronger team down the stretch. Astros did win 5 of the 7 these two teams played this season but that will only give us a better price here.

Play on the Chicago White Sox ML rotation #947

Rangers are a bunch of choke artists and tonight will be more of the same. This line is ultra light to back the Rangers who are tied for the lead in the AL West and they have future hall of famer DeGrom on the mound. Talk about a spot the masses will be on huge. My only hold back on this game is it is Friday.

Play on the Minnesota Twins on the ML rotation #966

Rangers chocked away a game last night and the Mets will beat them again here tonight. Nolan McLean is the best the Mets have to offer on the mound and I am all over him. Cody Bradford is mediocre as best and we should see the Mets crush him early and often.

Play on the NY Mets on the ML rotation #979

Right back on the KC Royals tonight this time it is my best bet on the board. Roayls have lost 8 of 9 and the White Sox are in the playoff hunt and won 3 straight yet this line is a virtual pick em? I am trusting my gut here and going the other way than the masses. Erick Fedde will go after the opener and the Royals will feast on him at home.

Play on the KC Roayls on the ML rotation #970

I am riding with the Philadelphia Phillies on the ML here tonight behind Aaron Nola who has been fantastic over the last 5 games with an ERA around 1.72 and hes averaging 6 innings a start over that time. It’s true that Logan Henderson has been equally as good but this Brewers team has no reason to push here and the Phillies are fighting for their playoff lives.

Play on the Philadelphia Phillies on the ML rotation #954

I am running with the SD Padres on the ML here on the road in a game they need in this wild card fight with the Phillies going into tonight one game behind them for the 2 slot. Dodgers are at home and won 5 of the last 6 with the Padres so you know the Dodgers world will be all over them at this price but not me I am running the other way.

Play on the SD Padres on the ML rotation #911

KC has lost 7 of the last 8 games and the White Sox are in the heat of the playoff push yet this lone is very close to a pickem. White Sox 10 games under .500 on the road and the Royals 3 game sup at home look for them to get on track to end the season out and burn the masses.

Play on the KC Royals on the ML rotation #922

I am going with the desperate Arizona Diamondbacks here tonight. Arizona sits 4 games behind the Padres for the last wild card spot and time is running out. Yankees are sitting safely in the top wild card spot and no reason to push anything. Gerrit Cole was tagged last time out and I do not see him being pushed for then 5 innings tonight.

Play on the Arizona Diamondbacks on the ML rotation #930

Chance for the Detroit Tigers to get some revenge here tonight as this White Sox team swept them on their home field just last month so time for some payback here on Thursday as they look to try and cost Chicago a playoff spot. White Sox are reeling losers of 2 in a row and 7 of 10. Tigers playing good baseball overall 7-3 last 10 SU. I trust vet Framber Valdez a ton more than Erik Fedde.

Play on the Detroit Tigers on the ML rotation #963

I am going to go with the Texas Rangers again tonight on the ML. Mackenzie Gore has struggled but so has Jake Bennett as of late and like I said yesterday Rangers need these games more then Boston who has settled in to the second Wild card spot not being able to move up or down. Rangers are heating up winners of 3 straight games.

Play on the Texas Rangers on the ML rotation #924

For my best bet on the board for Tuesday I am running with the Texas Rangers on the ML this team sits 1 game out of 1st in the AL West and 1.5 out of the wild card. Red Sox aren’t really moving up or down as the season draws to an end so really a must win here for Texas. Patrick Sandoval is nothing special as these Rangers bats are heating up and should get to him.

Play on the Texas Rangers on the ML rotation #974

Mariners are bums and this price tells us all we need to know about this game. Reid Detmers 0.55 ERA over his last 5 starts as he really is finishing out the year on fire. Mariners bubble burst as this team is going absolutely nowhere and that reality is setting in. Mariners have been setting bettors money on fire all season long tonight is no different.

Play on the LA Angels on the ML rotation #918

Orioles off 2 embarrassing losses in a row and Mets well they are 7-3 last 10 playing good baseball but I love the Baltimore Orioles to bounce back and get us a nice plus money win with their backs to the wall. Brandon Young got torched last time out but before that was giving the Orioles consistent innings. Look for him to go 6 strong tonight.

Play on the Baltimore Orioles on the ML rotation #919

I am all over this Minnesota Twins team at home backs to the wall here on Friday night. We should see the world on the other side of this one. Sure Parker Messick has been fantastic but Taj Bradley has been serviceable and this Twins team must sweep this series at home and this is the time of year we see this Twins team excel over the years.

Play on the Minnesota Twins on the ML rotation #968

Back on those bum Royals today who could not get the job done for us yesterday. Zac Gallen has been getting crunched all season long and tonight will be more of the same. This line speaks volumes when the road team has 12 more wins and is chasing a playoff spot and yet this line is barely better then a pickem.

Play on the KC Royals on the ML rotation #978

My one and only play today will be on the KC Royals on the ML. Corbin Burnes was once one of the best pitchers in baseball but it’s been awile since he started a game and will be on innings restrictions here tonight. Most likely he wont go more then 4 innings and then its on to the Diamondbacks bullpen. Wacha for the Royals usually gives us around 7 innings and has been consistent for this team. Royals have struggled lately but I think we get a home win here with them.

Play on the KC Royals on the ML rotation #928

Good price here to back the Chicago Cubs as the Brewers cruise to the best record in the NL and the Cubs still fighting in the wild card. We should see a ton of love here from bettors for the Brewers at this price. Cubs half game up on Philadelphia needs these wins down the stretch.

Play on the Chicago Cubs ML rotation #955

I am all over the San Diego Padres here on Sunday in this must win game for them as they sit a half game behind the Diamondbacks for the final wild card. Yankees 9.5 up on the Guardians for the final spot in the American League. This line very tempting for Yankees guys and Cole bettors. Do not fall for this trap.

Play on the San Diego Padres on the ML rotation #930

I am right back on the Texas Rangers here tonight after they blew the game last night. Rays are in cruise control heading to the playoffs while the Rangers are in a dog fight here to win the AL West as they sit 2 games behind in division and wild card. Line tells us what we need to do here.

Play on the Texas Rangers on the ML rotation #966

Rangers will go with an opener here on Friday defiantly not a bad idea. Nick Martinez has massively over achieved so far this season and is due for some steep regression. Tampa cruising towards the playoffs while the Rangers need to fight for every win they can get. Price tells us all we need to know here.

Play on the Texas Rangers on the ML rotation #922

Very tempting for bettors to back the home team here the White Sox at such a cheap price with the apparent better pitcher on the mound but Zebby Mathews is closing out the season strong just look at his last 4 starts. Twins always come alive this time of year and win games to make the post season.

Play on the Minnesota Twins on the ML rotation #919

I am going with the Guardians on the ML here we should see the world on Dylan Cease and the Blue Jays but this is the time of year that the Guardians excel and their starting pitcher has been nearly just as good as Cease over the last 5 starts and if this game comes down to bullpen I like my chances with Cleveland.

Play on the Cleveland ML rotation #918

I am going to go with the Seattle Mariners on the ML here for Tuesday. Seattle got their hearts broken last night as they gave up 3 in the 8th and 9th to lose the game in extras. This team is running out of time if they want to win the wide open AL Western division. Woo struggled last time out against a good Phillies team. Boston most likely will go with a bullpen game as a starter has yet to be listed. Boston in cruise control up 6 games in the wild card hunt. Look for Seattle to get us paid tonight.

Play on the Seattle Mariners on the ML rotation #965

I am going with the Arizona Diamondbacks here on the ML. Phillies have been hot but lucky as well with some of these wins they have been getting. We get a home team that cant afford to lose here at plus money with the better pitcher on the mound. Aaron Nola has been good lately but he can be gotten too. Look for Arizona to get to him early.

Play on the Arizona Diamondbacks on the ML rotation #910

I am going with the Minnesota Twins ML for my best bet on the board here for Sunday. Minnesota has lost 4 straight and sit 4 games behind the White Sox in the Central Division. This is a must have game for this team. We should see the world flocking to the White Sox at plus money but not me I am running the other way. Zebby Mathews has been fantastic last 5 starts going 5-0 with a 3.90 ERA. White Sox go with an opener and what looks like a bullpen start.

Play on the Minnesota Twins ML rotation #966

I am going with the Boston Red Sox on the ML in game 1 of a double header today in the Bronx. Boston has dropped 2 straight games and if they are to catch NY here in the standings they need to at least take game 1 of this twin bill with Max Fried on the bump in game 2. Yankees always over bet today’s game will be no different.

Play on the Boston Red Sox ML rotation #913

I am going with the Atlanta Braves on the ML for my best bet on the board. Braves got it done yesterday for me as the Dodgers are in a road tailspin as the Braves seem to be back on track. We should see a ton of love here for the road Dodgers as per usual. Don’t fall for this trap.

Play on the Atlanta Braves on the ML rotation #906

I am going to go with the Texas Rangers for my best bet today on the board. Yesterday I like Chicago but bettors are fickle and after seeing that poor performance from Texas we see the hordes of bettors on Burke and the White Sox. I like MacKenzie Gore to do well today for Texas.

Play on the Texas Rangers on the ML rotation #971

I am riding the plus money Braves here at home. Not too often do you get Atlanta at this price. Braves starting to pick up steam winners of 2 straight games and I think we will see a much better outing for AJ Smith-Shawver. World should be backing the Dodgers and Sasaki who has been hittable at times.

Play on the Atlanta Braves ML rotation #962

Phillies have been a streaky team this season and they have hit a funk in Seattle. Jesus Lazardo very good pitcher but way to much bettors love for him and the Phillies here today. Can’t resist the plus money and the desperate home team with Woo on the mound for Seattle.

Play on the Seattle Mariners on the ML rotation #976

Easy call here in Seattle to take the Mariners on back to back nights. Aaron Nola has seen better days and should get crunched tonight. George Kirby is one of the best young arms in baseball and he should be able to contain this potent Phillies offense. Bullpen of Philadelphia is a mess.

Play on the Seattle Mariners ML rotation #930

Chicago won 7-0 against Arizona they come into this one with 7 more wins the have the better pitcher as far as stats go in Clay Holmes yet this game is a pickem? I am going to back Arizona here on the ML. Brandon Pfaadt off a bad start but he was phenominal leading up to that clunker. Love the home team here against the fat and happy Cubs who are in cruise control sailing towards the postseason.

Play on the Arizona Diamondbacks ML rotation #908

Pirates losers of 3 straight are fading fast and they are playing a Padres team off 3 straight wins and again this line close to a pickem and we see who the books would love our action on and its the home Padres. Braxton Ashcraft off two phenomenal starts in a row and I think he goes atleast 7 strong here tonight.

Play on the Pittsburgh Pirates on the ML rotation #955

I am going to go with the Seattle Mariners for my best bet on the board for Monday. Phillies had one of the greatest late comebacks in franchise history coming back down 4 with 2 strikes and 2 outs in the ninth but that was yesterday and right after that game they had to fly across the country to play a team at home and off an embarrassing blow out loss 19-2. Add to the mix Zack Wheeler is going yet this line is close to a pickem? Very telling.

Play on the Seattle Mariners on the ML rotation #970

Orioles are making their move just a game out of the wild card going into action today. Tampa has been in cruise control as they sit 9.5 up in the east. Losers of 3 straight games. Nick Martinez hit the wall we all saw coming last start giving up 6 runs and I think the Orioles bats get to him here today.

Play on the Baltimore Orioles on the ML rotation #912

I am on the Seattle Mariners for my best bet on the board for Baseball. Seattle has brought up their top pitching prospect Kade Anderson who has been absolute dynamite in the minors going 10-1 1.06 ERA and a WHIP of 0.64. He goes against washed up MLB starter David Peterson. Even the weak Seattle offense will put up stats today.

Play on the Seattle Mariners ML rotation #974

I am going to go with the NY Mets on the ML here for Saturday. White Sox have been very good at home and the Mets very poor on the road but I think we see a big difference in starting pitching today. Luis Castillo has been getting hit all year and Christian Scott has broke out this year at the age of 27.

Play on the NY Mets on the ML rotation #971

On paper the Tigers and Troy Melton are the better team but games are not played on paper. The Tigers have been sinking like the titanic over the last 6 games losing 5 of them. Troy Melton has pitched well beyond his skill set and is due for some regression here tonight. Royals are red hot and the run continues here tonight.

Play on the KC Royals on the ML rotation #920

I am going with the Baltimore Orioles here on the ML. This team is on life support and can not afford to be swept by the Yankees and lose their 4 game in a row. Such a low number to bet the Yankees and Gerrit Cole should attract a ton of bettors on to the Yankees today. Love the Orioles and Kyle Bradish to have his best start of the season.

Play on the Baltimore Orioles on the ML rotation #958

Mariners off their most embarrassing loss in franchise history 22-0 and you know that loss coupled with the light line today will bring out the masses on the best team in baseball the Milwaukee Brewers. Logan Gilbert one of my favorite pitchers in the game should be able to give us 6-7 strong innings here tonight.

Play on the Seattle Mariners on the ML rotation #927

I am backing the Minnesota Twins for my best bet in baseball here today. Minnesota has looked good in this series and goes for the sweep today as they have a nice advantge at starting pitcher. Braves in the middle of a grueling road trip and I see this team continuing to ride out the string to the playoffs while the Twins fight for a birth.

Play on the Minnesota Twins on the ML rotation #920
